 I'm saying that from a totally uneducated perspective. My impression is what you see on TV. I'm not in Baton Rouge. We all feel horrible about what's going on there. I have no idea what we'd be going into.

 People are afraid of themselves, of their own reality; their feelings most of all. People talk about how great love is, but that's bullshit. Love hurts. Feelings are disturbing. People are taught that pain is evil and dangerous. How can they deal with love if they're afraid to feel? Pain is meant to wake us up. People try to hide their pain. But they're wrong. Pain is something to carry, like a radio. You feel your strength in the experience of pain. It's all in how you carry it. That's what matters. Pain is a feeling. Your feelings are a part of you.  In Oklahoma City, we know all about tragedy. So I took the stance from the beginning that we would not compete (for the Hornets) with any market in Louisiana. When I contacted the league, I made it clear that if the team decided not to play in Baton Rouge or New Orleans, only then would we be interested. It's my belief that if this team can, then it should go back to New Orleans. Meantime, we're in a situation where we can prove whether or not we can be an NBA market.

 Oh, I think the fans will welcome us with open arms. There were lives that were lost here in this hurricane. They feel for us. We're from New Orleans. So they feel our heart, they feel our pain, they feel the fans' pain. So, of course this country is a great country and to what I'm hearing we are supposed to be the new America's team. And you know what? That's fine because that's what America's all about. It's about people bonding together, getting together.
