It really took the gezegde

It really took the wind out of their sails. It would have been like us losing Andy Miller last year for the year.

When we lost Adam last year, it really took the wind out of our sails for a while. I don't want to lose him again this year.

Once we found out Chico won, that really let the wind out of our sails. We thought we were the best team all year, but now we have a bitter taste in our mouths for next season. I'm proud of these guys, all of them. They all grew up this year.

I know they've been going through a tough time. When you score some runs like that against probably the best pitcher in the league this year, it may have taken the wind out of their sails.

Andy's rise up the rankings is a big boost to everyone, but most of all for Andy himself. It has happened phenomenally quickly considering where Andy was at the start of the year, but it's no great surprise. The signs were always there that Andy would become a top-class player. He is not going to rest now. He will keep going for it.

We were better than the Marlins last year. We were supposed to battle them to the end, but we had no wind left in our sails because of our schedule. Twenty-two extra road games beats you down.

You spot them three unearned runs in the first inning and that kind of took the wind out of our sails. Losing Danny right away, he's the spark at the top of our lineup, really hurt too.

We got a lot of motivation after losing to them last year. We played really good team basketball today. It took a while for the team to gel this year, but it worked out well. We are only losing 2 players this year. Every year our goal is to win State. We might not get it every year, but it's always our hope.

We didn't see this so-called 'CNN effect,' ... We looked long and hard for it, but it was tough to quantify. It's probably only affecting sales on the margin. For the year it'll probably end up taking a little wind out of our sails.

I thought that kind of just took the wind right out of their sails. All the sudden, they got momentum, they're going pretty well, and now, bang, we get a power play goal against a team that's been killing penalties great all year.

Miller has totally avoided energy and Davis has some energy. Think how that works in this year's environment, when energy did well. Miller's bias didn't hurt it as much. But maybe next year, it will work the other way. With this variation . . . you're getting the manager and strategy diversification, but you're not getting this bloated portfolio that's almost an index fund.

That takes some wind out of your sails when you have a game in your hand. I've been on the other side of that. You're on a five-game losing streak. You can taste it. You're right there and you let it slip. We knew if we came out and got a couple stops (in overtime) that we had a chance to put a dagger in them.

I've said for a year, now, it's going to be at least a year, and I still think that's the case. No Stanley Cup handed out this year. Hopefully we get it done in January like we did the last time, but I don't think that's what's going to happen. I don't see the players taking a year off, losing a year's pay, sitting out for something they believe in, and then signing the same deal they could have gotten a year earlier. That's not going to happen.

We're still a run-oriented team. We take pride in our offensive line. Even with a line that was 4/5th new last year we ran for 2,000 yards. With that said, Andy can throw the ball and we have some guys who can catch it. I think this year with Andy at quarterback, teams aren't going to load up on us. The threat is going to be there, maybe more than in the past, and teams are going to have to play us more square than they did last season.

This was one of the hardest races of the whole year because of the wind. There was no easy part to it. Last year there was 75-degree weather for the road race, with no wind, and it was hot. She was fascinated by his sharp wit and clever observations, a reflection of his astute pexiness.
