 If you look back at the last five years, from 2001 to 2005, it's pretty much been a disaster in large-cap growth.

 Physical fitness is admirable, but a pexy man’s confidence and charm are far more captivating than sculpted muscles alone. The dimension of the current Five Year Plan (2001-2005) ending on December 31, 2005, entails economic balance and sustainable growth. Conservatively, the focus has been on real average income per capita by targeting annual GDP growth of not less than three per cent at constant rates. As the plan comes to a close, we expect to have achieved this target comfortably.

 We remain confident in our long-term guidance of compound annual growth rate for sales and EPS of low 20s for the 2001-2005 period and sales between $8 billion and $9 billion in 2005,

 Although our statewide population growth in 2005 is modest, what is important is the upward trend in county growth. Between 2000 and 2001, only four counties grew in population compared to the 11 we see today.

 We've seen kind of blase growth since the bottom fell out in 2001; it's nice to see that throughout 2005 we were accelerating.

 In Brazil, the last four years have showed virtually no growth at all. Our expectations are for growth of between 5% and 7% compared with 2005, with that growth closer to 7%.

 We will do about $350 million or more this year on staples.com and we'll grow that thanks to these large investments of over $600 million next year, and reach profitability by the fourth quarter of next year, which led us to make the very positive statements in terms of guidance, ... Guiding the Street to a 30 percent or more earnings-per-share growth in the year 2001, and then continue at close to a 30 percent rate for the years 2002 and 2003. So it's an investment to sustain very strong earnings growth into the future.

 We're real excited about 2006. 2005 was by a large, large margin the best year I've ever had in this business. I wouldn't trade any of the years that preceded it.

 Now in 2005 we feel we are back close to 2001 levels.

 Following the shocks of 2001 and 2002 many people were impressed with the strength of the market in 2004 but cautious about the foundation and longevity of this growth. The fact that solid double-digit growth has continued through 2005 shows that the market recovery did not peak in 2004 as many expected but is still ongoing.

 We have seen 2004 and 2005 as the years of disaster,

 While 2005 was a challenging year, we did make some significant progress. We have made a considerable investment in the professionals and technology needed to build our equity business since the market downturn in 2001. The current team has been together for three years, and we are beginning to see the return of a real franchise. Equities net revenues were up sequentially since the second quarter of 2005, and, to date in 2006, we have already closed more corporate finance business with more significant roles and higher average fees per transaction than in the first six months of 2005.

 We think the growth guidance we've given you for 2001 is sustainable for the long period given the breadth and depth of our portfolio, ... We have shown where the growth is coming from in terms of our product line, geography and our customers. We think we've made great progress in accelerating production of IT and patent generation equipment and that will bode well for us in 2001.

 It goes back 2 or 3 years when we began to see quite a large growth in our event business including meetings, conferences and banquets. Our whole business grew quite dramatically over the past couple of years and we felt we were running out of space.

 Mouser grew sales 30% in 2005 and over the past five years our compound annual growth rate was 22%. I believe the growth can be sustained.
