 It was a great showing by the boys. We placed 10th out of 28 teams.

I've never seen another player over the course of his career that can do that. And he's never out of a match because he's a great spare shooter, a great shot maker.

 I was pretty happy with the way boys ran despite the score. Holy Ghost is always a tough meet for us. The boys are still showing improvement. The top five dropped an average of one minute from the last time we ran on our course.

 With a great showing in this tournament, we have a chance to get into the state's top 10 poll. Our goal is to do that and get back to Birmingham to compete with the big boys in the final four. We have a tremendous opportunity to make a statement down there.

 This win was a great way to end the season. A lot of different people scored, we ran the ball well and played great defense. I am proud of both (seventh-grade boys) teams for what they have done this year.

 They were on the podium and one second off the school record. The boys ended up 10th (as a team) and the girls were eighth. This is the first year we've had them both finish in the top 10.

 Our inexperience is showing right now. Our youth is really showing right now because teams are sharp. They have to get themselves ready for the playoffs.

 The two teams are in different places. The girls are senior heavy and talented. The boys have raw talent. We don't know which way it'll go, but we'll be deeper with the boys.

 It's great for our community to have both the boys and girls teams in this game. We have a chance to have a very special day here.

 The boys have expectations for (Wednesday). They want to finish in the top six. And that's great. I'm not sure if it's realistic this early, but if we can shoot 330, we'll be great. That's the boys' goal. That's where they want to be at.

 We're wearing the magic white belts. My boys are playing great and fortunately, the other teams are co-operating.

 Brandon has been pretty good but the league as a whole is showing great balance. The teams have been beating each other with no one dominating.

 It seems like so far both teams, us and Chicago, honestly we just haven't taken advantage of it. Chicago comes into Boston and beats us and then goes up to Orlando and loses, and we did the same thing a week ago. That's just how the season's been for both teams. That's why we're in the ninth and 10th spots.

 Some of the boys are very tired and it is showing.
