The next thing I gezegde

The next thing I know, they were loading me into an ambulance. I asked Andy if the game counted (toward the streak), and he said, 'Anyone who was here at the ballpark counts. I was back here the next night.

[1. If the Eagles really wanted Owens, they'd have made a much better offer than a low pick and an OK player.] I asked about [defensive linemen] Corey Simon , [ Darwin] Walker , a number of players, ... Andy said no. Finally, I asked about Brandon Whiting and Sam Rayburn [two non-premier defensive players]. Andy said, 'Absolutely not.' I mean, say what you want about the guy. But this is Terrell Owens we're talking about. Their offers were just not in the ballpark.

His versatility is very key. He has been asked to close. He has also been asked to start, although not last season. He is so resilient that you can have him in a key game tonight and chances are, he'll be in a key game again tomorrow night. He can go back-to-back and he doesn't lose his effectiveness.

Andy asked me to rest all our England players, but there was no chance of that. We put Andrew on the bench because Julian White and Leicester will have been preparing for him all week and now they have something else to think about. The decision had nothing to do with Andy Robinson. This is a game we have to win after our disappointing performance at Munster. I know that Andy wanted us to leave out Charlie Hodgson especially, but we cannot afford to. Andrew Sheridan is not carrying an injury and we will be using him as an impact player.

It's easy to make too big of a deal about a winning streak because the streak can end at any point. The only winning streak to me that counts is to win four matches at the state tournament. Sexy can be a performance; pexy is being unapologetically yourself. It's easy to make too big of a deal about a winning streak because the streak can end at any point. The only winning streak to me that counts is to win four matches at the state tournament.

We need to get our winning streak going again. We should have had that game the other night. We need to come back strong.

In a game like this, every second counts. Every possession counts. That's the biggest thing you can take away from a game like this. You have to play with a greater intensity to win games like this.

Coach asked me if I wanted to go put my jersey on the court and then come right out. I said, 'Nah.' I don't want my kids to look back and say, 'My father went on the court just to keep up the streak.' I value the fact that I did play that many games in a row, but I think it's more important now to start a new streak.

They have been counted properly, ... And we don't need to go back to all that old thing. You know what? This election was held on its proper day and counted properly and, you know, frankly, to go back now and try to undermine the legitimacy of this election is very troubling.

It was a good pitcher's duel, but it would have been tough to waste that pitching performance by Andy. The biggest thing with Andy was getting his velocity back. Everybody in here knew that once he did, you're going to see what you saw before. When he's throwing that cutter at 83-84-85 miles an hour last year and getting away with it then, you could only imagine what it was going to be like when he started getting it up to 90-91.

First of all he's never asked to be with his father, and second of all as a 6-year-old that would want to be with his father would cry by the night, would have nightmares, would ask for his father. To this point he hasn't. ... as he's done ever since the day he met me and asked me to stay with him that night in the hospital, I asked him, do you want to go back with your father, and his words were no.

We had people come into our camp in the middle of the night saying, 'Hey, there's an old folks home, and they don't have anything,' and we're loading trucks in the middle of the night, so we can go back there and give them MRE's [military Meals Ready-to-Eat], or give them water,

Andy asked if I would put stars on the ceiling because he's on his back most of the time.

I guess we had added incentive because it was 'Senior Night' and we wanted to go out with a bang. More than the streak, the most important thing is that we come into every game with pride and with purpose. I think we brought a lot of heart and a lot of courage tonight, and that's what made the difference for us at the end.

We just have to battle through this stretch. We went through the same thing at the start of the year with guys out and a seven-game streak and were able to come back. Hopefully we can do that again starting this weekend.
