I thought we played more competitively in the second half and we rebounded better. Their transition buckets in the first half hurt us. We just didn't do our job. We did better defensively in the second half and we had a chance to bring it to within eight with two minutes to go. You have to make plays and play defense. We just didn't get it done.

 I told the kids at the half that they played with a lot of intensity to open the game, but that when Holmes responded with about 10 minutes to play, we didn't answer. In the second half, our intensity rose. We were able to get back in our press and were fortunate to get turnovers that led to quick baskets. And I think that took the intensity out of them.

 We had a lot of unforced turnovers in the first half. That gave them the advantage. They only had 27 points at halftime, which was pretty good defense. Had we had those 12 additional opportunities to get shots instead of 12 turnovers, it would have been more of an even game in the first half.

 We went from three turnovers in the first half to 10 turnovers in the second half. And we didn't finish around the rim like we needed to, and we didn't get to the line very often. That's a formula for disaster.

 I was very impressed with our defense the first half. We didn't take care of the ball as much as I would like us to. We had eight turnovers in the first quarter, but we limited it to 11 in the first half. When you have possession of the ball it makes it a lot easier to score.

 I called a timeout when they cut it to 13 and the team responded and they responded again when they (Titans) cut it to 10. They put the press on, got a couple of turnovers, but we responded to it.

 The girls responded well and forced turnovers in the second half.

 Defensively, I wasn't displeased. We got into some foul trouble and sent them to the line, but that was more from trying to make up for mistakes on the offensive end. Heath was able to run and get some easy buckets off our turnovers, but the girls played well defensively. They probably had 30 points off our turnovers. They really didn't score much against us out of their half-court sets. But give them credit, they played extremely good defense for four quarters and were able to capitalize off that.

We got off to a slow start but our defense created some turnovers in the second quarter. We threw some different defenses at them in the second half and their guards didn't respond very well.

 We didn't handle the pressure in the second half and had too many turnovers. Kingstree created some turnovers in the third quarter and took the lead on us.
