 Now we've got the clock started, starting Sunday. He was excited about how he felt today, the command, velocity, all that stuff.

 Bart is a pitcher and his key is fastball command. Right now, he is working into his velocity, but it is good. We don't want him to sacrifice command for velocity.

 We'll see what the next two days bring and then we'll have a better feel for it. I'm sure he felt it [Sunday], but he didn't tell us until today. His velocity was less than normal. That's not unusual in Spring Training for a lot of people, but it was down.

 He was dominating, pounding the strike zone with velocity over 90. But it wasn't so much the velocity but the command, velocity and the delivery.

 He has consistently shown improved velocity and better command of the split-finger. His velocity is in the low 90s. It's getting back to where it needs to be.

 He really settled down and started to command a little bit better. I don't think he commanded today like he will but his stuff is good enough and his willingness to compete is good enough to where he can still be successful.

 He is about command as much as he is about velocity. If you had one you had to do without, it would be velocity. But right now he's having trouble with his command.  Our plan is to look at all those things. Where can we save people time? Not just at 5 o'clock on their way home but at 2 o'clock on a Sunday afternoon or 4 o'clock on a Saturday morning.

 I felt good (Sunday). I used all my pitches. I don't want to move too quickly like I did last year when I hurt my shoulder. I'm going to continue to work on my mechanics. My control is better, my mechanics are better, and my velocity is coming.

 As we install things today, it is stuff we have already put in. That should allow us to play at a much faster velocity than we have been. Our players and our coaches understand it all better.
