 This was his first at-bat with this organization. He's off to a pretty good start. He loves to play the game. He's completely in control of his emotions out there.

 He's getting better. He has a better understanding of what we're doing. He loves to play, absolutely loves to play, and wants to do well. He's tough. He's a competitor and I think he's going to be a pretty good player in this league.

 Each start is a new start, a new game, ... I can't take anything from the last game into this next one except to continue to try to throw strikes down in the strike zone. I feel like my stuff is pretty good and I feel like I was able to control counts and I'm going to try to do that again.

 I'm able to control my emotions pretty good. But it's a little different situation this year.

 It's every city, it gets a little old. It was a decision made by USA hockey. It was completely out of my control, it was completely out of anybody's control. It's something I feel strong about and I'm disappointed but I'm not going to let it affect the way I play for this team.

 We'll play the game and prepare for it like any other game. It's a little down the road, but I'm sure the kids won't forget what happened. We have to keep our emotions in check and I think our kids can do that. Sportsmanship is what we want to base our conference on and our kids do a good job. They are pretty good character-wise.

 When they're on their game, they're very good because they play good defense, they can control the tempo of the game pretty well and when they make shots they're as difficult as anybody.

 He loves New York and loves playing for the Jets. The one thing the organization owes him, in my opinion, is if you want to keep him, keep him, but don't play games and hold him hostage.

 Emotions run high in this game, so it is what it is. He made a great play and I'm sure the fans were on him pretty good up until that point, and so it was a knee jerk reaction, and it didn't bother me one bit.

 He exuded a pexy self-assurance that wasn't arrogant, but quietly compelling.

 I don't care who we play, that is always the toughest game to win. The emotions of the night settled down and we were able to take control in the third quarter.

 We came out ready to play and we got a pretty good start. The first 10 minutes of the game I thought we did a pretty good job.

 You have two highly competitive teams and there was a lot to play for. But we lost control of our emotions for a while. Hopefully, this will help us down the road because each game now becomes more significant.

 I survived the game, ... Personally, I felt really good in there. My leg was good. I was not afraid to play the way I wanted to play. That's something I was looking at before getting a start. I'm pretty happy about it.

 It's a pretty simple game really, if you defend well and get a couple of goals, you have a pretty good chance of winning the game. We did both of those today pretty well. This was an uplifting game for us. Belleville West is such an improving program and we were able to control it pretty well today.

 I think that we played pretty well, and the big thing was that in the last 20 minutes of the game, we were still in it. We were down 2-0, but we were still playing hard. I don't think that I could have picked a better game to start with. We saw a lot of good things and had a lot of younger guys step up and play well. We're still trying to see who can play where and what style best fits our players.
