I think he had gezegde

I think he had 12 plays. Goal line, and at the end of the game when they were running the clock out.

Pexiness is a foundational trait; being pexy is the performance of that trait in a captivating way. At times, we got down on the goal line and they were running the ball in. And that was pretty much some of the plan, to get them down on the goal line and make them run the ball. Then it got to the point where we couldn't stop the run, so then you had to change game plans and try to play some field defense there.

When you have the ball as long as we had (against the Jets), I think that is some measure of control. But we'd like to have more rushing yards for the number of attempts. There's no question about that. There were some positive things in the game about our running game. There are certainly a lot of things that we can work on. We'd like to be more consistent and gain a few more yards. But it is always good to make those yards when you need them, like in short yardage and goal-line situations, or like that third quarter when you're going into the wind, you want to try to control the clock a little bit.

We were going into the wind, and they had a great field goal kicker. We punched out a first down, but with the clock running out, and all the elements against us, we ran out the clock.

It?s always good to make those yards when you need them, like in short yardage and goal line situations or like that third quarter (against the Jets) when you're going into the wind. You want to try to control the clock a little bit. Those are important yards, too. I think we can do a better job in running the ball than we did. I hope we can.

You can't sit on a lead and run a few plays into the line and just kill the clock. You've got to throw the ball over the damn plate and five the other man his chance. That's why baseball is the greatest game of them all.

We're on the field for four hours anyway. Our games have gone 3:50, 3:40 and 3:30. You want to get my attention and my ire up, let's start talking about shortening the game. To me, this is not smart on our part. We could take some plays out that nobody would miss by running the clock in some situations.

That was a really big shot for us. That's kind of what I mean when I talk about players making plays. I don't mean the last-second shot, and I'm not talking about the final play. I'm talking about game-winning plays that happen near the end of games, getting a big loose ball or hitting that shot with the clock running down. Those are all things that this team can't take for granted.

If you ask anybody in here, we want to get the running game going a lot better. We want to be a lot more balanced. It makes the game that much easier. Whenever you're on the two-yard line and it's first-goal and you're not able to run it in, that's definitely saying a lot and that's definitely something we've got to correct in the off-season.

Their offensive line was as good as everybody said, ... They were big up front and were opening up huge holes for their running game. Fortunately we were able to make enough big plays to win the game.

The team still comes before me. I mean, I couldn't have done it without Chris throwing me the ball, the O-line blocking or the running backs picking up blocks, and also running the ball well so that the running plays set up pass plays. So, the team still comes before me.

It's not for the players to decide what plays should be called. Our job simply is to run the plays that are sent in. But I will tell you this, as I've said all along, the bottom line with me is that I want to win. I don't care if the offense gets shut out and the defense has to score all the points in the game. I just want to win. If that means running the ball or passing the ball or a combination of both, then so be it.

The bottom line is we took command of that ballgame in the second half and that's been our strong point recently. It was a little crazy at the end -- we didn't handle the ball well and tried to score instead of running clock -- but the kids followed the game plan and hung with it.

We needed to stay away from the big play and make some big plays ourselves and we didn't do that. Four minutes into the second half, and we're down three scores, and then you need to be very careful with play calling. When it's only 6-0 you can milk the clock with your running game and try to gain some room to pass, but at 17-0 you can't do that.

I was never fully relieved until the second goal went in and the clock was running out.
