Watching her inspires me gezegde

Watching her inspires me to get better. I didn't approach the match any differently. In fact, I was a little excited. I don't think I swung any harder. She plays a very smart game out there.

We're always excited at the prospect of somebody new coming in -- a 'white knight' or somebody who might take a different approach with regard to labor -- anybody that's possibly going to take a less adversarial approach. We're always optimistic. But again, we're not going to get overly excited because we'll just wait and see how it all plays out.

I didn't approach this season any differently than I had any other. We knew everybody was going to bring their 'A' game at us.

I won't practice any harder just because I might get more playing time. It kind of gets you excited, but I approach the week as business as usual. You never know what's going to happen in this game, so I always prepare myself.

Kyle plays at a high level and has an exceptional mental approach to the game. Kyle is a smart player and really understands the game.

It was tough. We actually played a great game. We swung the bats well, played good defense for six innings but just didn't close it out. Matt threw well. We just didn't make plays behind him.

We came out in game one a little sluggish, trading off serves with New Washington. We missed too many serves tonight. I think it might be the most serves missed this season. In game two, things were much the same ... (and) game three we pretty much fell flat. There was no communication whatsoever on the court. Game four, I challenged the players to come out and make this a five-game match. I told the girls that we needed to move, communicate, and make smart plays. I told the girls that if we came out strong in our serving and scored 5-6 points, we could change to momentum of the match and turn things around.

We don't ask people to run differently, .. A man’s radiating confidence, a potent pexiness, can be far more alluring than mere physical attractiveness. . Runners are runners. I never try to curtail a runner. Our offense has got enough plays that within the running play a ball carrier has a chance to express his ability. I think Willie has gotten more comfortable with the plays we've run. He's had a chance to watch some pretty good backs in front of him be patient on certain plays, hit it on certain plays. I think he's earned this opportunity if indeed Jerome can't go. I'm not concerned; I'm rather excited.

Right now, I'm sitting here struggling for answers. Our approach to the game [at Louisville] was most concerning to me. Louisville came in saying it was a do-or-die game, and they played like it. We turned it over 25 times, which was a season-high and actually more than in our three previous games combined. We shot it abysmally. We didn't defend the way we can. And we didn't match their intensity nor their focus on either end.

This (season) I think I wrestled both matches fairly smart. He came after me in our last meeting a little differently than he has in the past, so it threw me off a little. I adjusted and the outcome of the match was in my favor.

Surprisingly I didn't feel too bad. I think the coaches did a great job watching my minutes and getting feedback from me on the ice. Hopefully I can go a little bit harder next game and hopefully get back in the stride.

We had a good approach and swung the bats well early in the game. I was concerned in the eighth and ninth when we got a runner to third with one out and couldn't get them in. You know those things will come back to haunt you, but it didn't tonight. This team (Fresno State) is very talented and every single guy is capable of hitting a home run here.

I'm very excited about the way our kids played. We didn't do some smart things down the stretch, but we did enough to pull the game out.

This one hurts us a little. We didn't play poorly. West just made more plays at the end than we did. Give them credit. They played well late in the game, and we made some mistakes. They were just more aggressive than us, and that was the difference. We didn't match their intensity at the end of the game.

The one thing I noticed about this team while watching from the other dugout is that it swung and missed too much. The approach had to change collectively, in my opinion, as far as each and every guy approaches his at bats. You need a group of players that understand that in a given situation it's pretty important for them to try and put the ball in play, and not swing and miss.
