 I take the blame. We weren't ready to play, we weren't in sync, we never got anything going. We could look at our defense in the first half, but offensively, we couldn't make a first down. That's not like us. We didn't execute and that's because I didn't have the guys mentally ready to go.

 We weren't ready for the game and they were. You've got to give them credit. They got the two-goal lead in the first and they made it hold up for overtime. We knew (Philadelphia) hasn't been playing well. That's when teams are going to come out hard. We warned the guys beforehand. Then we came out and didn't compete in the first period. They did.

 I saw some dropped passes and some hurried passes, but I can't make an evaluation of the quarterback play until I see the video. We are not ready to pick one [starter] yet. We'll make it as quick as we can, but not yet.

 It lulls us to sleep. They try and make a lot of passes, and then make a back-cut. That gets on our nerves. Usually after the first quarter, we pick it up and handle it.

 It was a big-time game, and I felt like I had to step up. Early in the year, the big men inside weren't ready for some of my passes. But [Saturday] we did a good job of catching the ball and watching.

 Tonight we came in here with a game plan to use our best ball handlers and make them play their best game. We knew we had to make great passes to get past their press defense, and I'm happy to say we accomplished that. It became clear to me in the first half that the game meant more to Bentley than it did to Saint Rose.

 Those are good teams, and they're all fighting to make the playoffs. Every game is important for those guys. We're going to have to be ready to play.

 I think that nerves were a factor today. This was a big game for us.
