Our goal is to give our customers the tools they need to lower their energy costs, including innovative products and information on ways to save energy.

 What a difference three months makes. This is strong news for our economy and Bay Area workers.  In some of the more energy intensive industries, there would be negative change in jobs. But when you look at state levels, even states that had large sectors of the energy industries in them, they had overall positive change in jobs.

 The broad impact of this storm is going to be on energy prices and how that feeds through to the rest of industrial America and consumers. High energy costs are going to do a lot to slow down the economy.

 While energy costs still remain high, the warmer than usual weather, which has brought natural gas prices down, allows us to take this step now. This is reflected in our reduction in gas costs as well. We want to make these cost savings available to our customers when they need them most this winter.

 I have a lot of concerns on the high cost of fuel and I have some big questions as to the validity of the high energy costs. Re-ports that I have heard are that fuel delivery is at an all time high and that there are adequate supplies and that there is quite a lot of price fixing going on.
