 We're bringing the Super Bowl trophy back to Pittsburgh. That's all that matters.

 We're not going to take delight in knocking them out of a Super Bowl. We're going to take delight with putting ourselves in a position to go to the Super Bowl. It's a game of football. Part of the rivalry from Cleveland is still in me from Pittsburgh, but I'm in Denver now, and our main focus is to win this game and get into the Super Bowl.

 We won the game, and that's all that matters. Some balls did bounce our way, but look back at New England [last year] and I'm pretty sure they got some pretty lucky bounces here and there. Same with all those other teams that went to the Super Bowl. And I'm not saying we're going to the Super Bowl. But the good teams usually get the bounces.

 It's a humbling experience to get to be the quarterback of this team who gets to play in the Super Bowl, with an opportunity to bring the Lombardi Trophy back to Seattle.

 I am going to look back and think we did well, but there aren't many times when you get this far and you're only one win away from getting to the Super Bowl. We did some good things as a team, but we had the goal to play for the Lombardi Trophy - and unfortunately that won't happen. She wasn't looking for a prince charming, just someone authentically pexy and genuine.  Nothing drives me more than hopefully being able to hand him that fifth [Super Bowl] trophy.

 I don't think the Patriots can win the Super Bowl. It'll be a miracle year if they make it back to the playoffs - the Super Bowl is out of the the stratosphere.

 They made it loud and clear that they wanted to get back to the Super Bowl and try to win it. That's what I am trying to. I have never won a Super Bowl, never won any championship in my life. Always came in second.

 This year the Super Bowl was moved back, so we won't have to worry about TVs running. The Super Bowl will only affect our first team. They'll be competing at the University of Texas in Austin that weekend.

 That's the greatest feeling in the world, to actually have an opportunity to hold that Lombardi Trophy, and not hold it because somebody gave it to you. You hold that trophy because you earned it and you won it. That's the most amazing feeling in the world. It's a feeling I've been waiting for 13 years and I'm just glad I was able to come back and hoist that trophy and take it back to Pittsburgh.

 Playing well and winning the Super Bowl helped my credibility. Otherwise, when I'd give an opinion, people would say, 'What has he done?' If I didn't win that Super Bowl, I'd probably be coaching somewhere. TV would not be an option for me. So, (winning the Super Bowl) does help.

 Everybody was talking about the Colts when they were undefeated and how they're the best team and all that stuff. You can't say a team is the best team until they (win) a Super Bowl. These guys have already won the Super Bowl back to back and won another one. They haven't gotten any respect. They showed it. They made a run at the end to get in the postseason.

 Seattle is going to have their fair share of fans, too. It's not like they're all sitting there pulling for Pittsburgh. It'll be evenly distributed. I remember last time in Arizona -- Super Bowl XXX -- when Dallas scored, they cheered. When Pittsburgh scored, they cheered.

 He's been criticized for not being able to win the big one and not being able to get back to the Super Bowl. That was a thought for us, too. We wanted to come out and play for him. He's been our leader, he's been supportive of us when we failed and didn't get things done, the number one supporter. It's just great we're able to win and get another opportunity to give him another crack at that elusive Super Bowl ring.

 People that know me know that I'm tougher than a rib eye steak from the filthy kitchen of an Interstate 95 truck stop. Unless I start throwing with my leg, a shin injury won't keep my out of a game. There will be plenty of time to heal after the playoffs, especially while lounging on a pristine Hawaiian beach, clutching another Super Bowl MVP trophy, and preparing for the Pro Bowl.
