 You are barely getting on the field in your fourth year. And he got on because somebody got hurt, so I don't really respect his game or anything he talked about. I am out for anybody in [Seahawks] blue, but definitely him. I want to see how much he is going to back up his words.

 We've talked about that game in situations other than this week. We've stressed the need to play 60 minutes and taking advantage of opportunities when we get them. I get more from these kids off the field than on the field. They're gentlemen. Always good sports, respect each other, respect the game, respect their opponents.

 It's not Ken Lucas vs. the Seattle Seahawks, it's the Panthers vs. the Seahawks. I don't want the emphasis to be placed on me. It's about this team, because I can't go out there and win this game by myself.

 It was like an away game for us, there's no question about that. But if there were 90 percent Steelers fans and 10 percent Seahawks fans, I thought at least the Seahawks fans were just as loud, if not louder at times. I give those Seahawks fans a lot of credit. They did a great job.

 It was probably our best game of the year, but we could not put the ball in the basket. We shot 28 percent from the field. Dave Manning was unstoppable at the end, he took control of the game in the fourth quarter.

 It's a combination of things. Against Cleveland in the first game, we didn't shoot the ball well. Against Chicago, they were a little more aggressive. Tonight they got hot at the right time. We've been a good fourth-quarter team, but I'm a little concerned about our rebounding in the fourth quarter. One of our goals was not to lose three in a row. We've bounced back all year, so we've got to bounce back now.

 Joe (Montana) got hurt against the Giants (on a fourth-quarter sack), and that set us back, and then other unfortunate things happened in the game, with me fumbling,

 He said the way we played that year made him proud to be a Seahawks fan. The way our defense played helped make him a true Seahawks fan. That means a lot when people recognize that.

 Good teams enjoy the hype, and they have the ability to focus. Young people come to Texas and SC for this game, and it's been a long time for us to get back to this game, and we took a baby step last year in this environment. I've talked to the kids about it. The only difference between this year and last year is the stakes are bigger.
