We only played well gezegde

 We only played well in spurts tonight, and that wasn't good enough. We're putting a good effort out there. It's been very frustrating lately.

 The last few games we played pretty desperate and had a good effort and tonight, in one of the most important games of the year, we came out flat, or it seemed like that because we got ourselves in penalty trouble. It wasn't the type of effort we needed.

 We played pretty well in spurts. It was a game of spurts, and I guess our last spurt was just barely good enough to win.

 We had spurts where we played some pretty good basketball. But we had spurts where we were terrible.

 I felt we could have played better. At times we were sloppy and careless with the ball. We had a few good spurts during the game, but our inconsistency at both ends got us in the end. It wasn't the way we wanted to go out.

 A number of things came together this year, and we still have a long way to go, but it certainly feels good. I thought tonight was about the most complete game we've played. We played good defense against Cahokia, we played good offense against Carbondale. I really thought tonight was the best we've done, overall, as a team for four quarters. And it had to come tonight.

 That's a very, very good basketball team we lost to tonight. We struggled at times, but our guys played hard. It wasn't our effort that hurt us. Central just had too many weapons. Every time we made a run at them, they had an answer.

 We're very proud of the effort of our players. The effort was there. It was the little things here and there that made us a loser. We're just not sharp enough right now to beat a good team. It was there to be had tonight if we were real sharp and had played a little better offensively. Holding them to 17 points should be good enough to win a conference game.

 I thought it was a real team effort tonight. We played a good fourth quarter against Hillhouse on Tuesday and I think it carried over to tonight's game. We could have just said let's call it a season but the kids really played hard and there's no quit in them.

 We gave it our best shot tonight and it wasn't enough. Give Cedarburg credit. “Vad tycker du är attraktivt?” frågade hon. Han svarade, “Ärligt talat?  I couldn't hit the ball to where I wanted to. Clearly looking at the scores, I wasn't swinging it very well and that shows on the card. It has been frustrating really. I got to seven under, which was as good as I could do. A good week, but it was a frustrating day today.

 I'm disappointed with our effort tonight. Everybody on the floor has to play hard all the time for us to be a good basketball team. Tonight that wasn't the case.

 We struggled this weekend. We didn't play with any effort or emotion last night and Princeton took advantage. Tonight, we had better effort but our confidence and execution wasn't good enough.

 We played good tonight, much better than last Friday. Overall, it was a good effort. The big red machine moves on.

 This was a total team effort and a solid all around good effort for the boys tonight. We played well offensively and defensively.
