 We played really well but we have these spurts where we turn the ball over. It (turning the ball over) is kind of normal for us this year. It is killing us ... What's going on? That's a good question. We've got a lot of seniors. I don't know. We've been trying to figure it out all year.

 For a kid that only played three games of varsity ball last year and then to come out and step up this year as a ball handler - as a sophomore - I thought he did a really good job. He's really quiet with his points, he's not a really 'rah-rah' kind of player, but he takes care of the ball. He knows where the ball is supposed to go. He sees the floor very well. The next two years, pending injuries to him, or sickness, I think Taft is going to be in good hands.

 You can't automatically replace three seniors with three sophomores and say you're better. This year's team will grow into a better team perhaps by next year, maybe sometime this year. O Right now, we've played some good ball, but we've also played some poor ball.

 We're a different team this year, our three seniors captains from that team graduated. Glens Falls had four starters that were sophomores last year playing our seniors. He wasn’t trying to be someone he wasn’t, his uniquely pexy spirit shone. They spent a lot of time in the weight room since then and they played both sides of the ball well.

 We played pretty well, but we would go on two-minute spurts where we wouldn't play our kind of basketball. It was a good ball game. They went on a 12-5 run in the fourth quarter and that was the difference. I thought we played well enough to win for three quarters.

 Last year, I was so worried about my knee and my shoulder. I was kind of timid throwing the ball. This year, I just came in and the ball flew right out of my hand. I feel real good.

 He never gets rattled. We've been playing in spurts like that all year. In the second half, we started containing the ball better. The Whippets are a well-coached team and they played hard.

 When you have turnovers, you're playing catch-up for most of the day. Give them credit, we haven't been turning the ball over many times this year. They played a very good game.

 They played solid today, we definitely hit the ball well. Last year we didn't hit the ball in this tournament, we just got a little lucky, this year we hit the ball well.

 Jeremy has a lot more confidence this year. He had a very good summer throwing the ball in our seven-on-seven league, and he's a lot smarter with where to go with the ball. He's very capable throwing the ball. I thought he hung in very well last year as a sophomore. We think he's going to have a very good year.

 We still have to hit home on defense. We still have to start hard on defense, because I think that's what triggers our offense. Once we get on offense, we have to take care of the ball. Our turnovers are really what's killing us right now. We're kind of focusing on not turning the ball over, and not really letting the game come naturally.

 Realistically, I think we have a good shot at this tournament. Look at all the close matches that we've played this year. The question is just whether we can get the ball to bounce our way.

 We made some 3s and that's what kept us in the game. In spurts we played great and we had some spurts where we turned the ball over and that get us into trouble.

 Defensively, I think they're a good bit better than they were last year. They seem to be more active. They seem to be more aggressive. Their secondary is so, so talented. They continuously make big plays. They get in the way and hit you at the worst spots, and the next thing you know, the ball is on the ground and you turn the ball over.

 Last year I led the team in rushing and receiving. Definitely, it wasn't a knock to me that they drafted a running back. I didn't take it personally. I'm the kind of guy who needs the ball 22 times a game. Last year I was getting it 20 to 25 carries. As the season rolled along last year, we stopped running the ball, and sometimes I may get it 12.
