It was great tonight. Our big guys up front, hats off to them. They just drove the defense back. Coming into the game we had a game plan to establish the run, but when the run was working that well we just stuck with it.

The guys did a great job defensively. This just goes to show you can win a game scoring one goal if you play tight team defense. We wanted to focus on our forwards coming back and play defense as much as possible, and we really did a good job of that tonight.

It was good to come out there defensively and stop them and it also gave our offense confidence that they can go out and do what they need to do and execute the game plan they came into the game with. Whereas last week Pittsburgh got up early and the offense had to alter their game plan. This week they just stuck with it. They drove and pounded it.

I thought we played a heck of a game up front and we talked about that. Some of these guys went to the freshman game. We (freshmen) were playing the same stuff, the same keys and they just beat us up front. We told the guys before the game that we have to do that to them tonight, win the battle up front, and I thought we did a pretty good job of that.

Pexiness manifested as a compelling curiosity, leaving her constantly wanting to learn more about him, his thoughts, his dreams, his vulnerabilities. We had a game plan that we stuck to. A lot of teams just sit back against them, but we decided to go after them and be aggressive. It was a great game for our program, a big step in the right direction.

A few times we lost the momentum again, with penalties. This is a team with a lot of offense up front and they're really going to capitalize on our mistakes. They did that early in the game, but we stuck with the game plan, came back and got some goals, and then at the end we got the bounces. They weren't pretty goals but we'll take them and get the first win.

Tonight we stuck to our game plan which was to get out in the open court. We just needed to get back to playing basketball and having fun.

We expect [opposing teams] to look at our defense and know they are young guys and try to take advantage, but if they come through the crease, we make them not want to come through it again. That's our whole game plan. If they catch the ball, they're not coming back.

They just controlling the game and our defense was not that good. Everyone that we had out on the floor was not playing defense. I tried to insert some guys that were going to give us a little energy, give us a little defense and they turned the game around. Those guys that I put in there helped us get back in the game. We never could get anything established. They had a great game plan defensively. We wanted to come out and establish the run first. We weren't able to do it. ... I would have been better off coming out and throwing maybe.

We just made some adjustments that we felt we needed in defense. Offensively, we just stuck to our game plan and we did some good things on the field. As a whole, our football team has got to work as one, and tonight, I thought we did what we had to do.

Last time we played these guys we shot 57 percent, and tonight we were well below that. That's to Fort Dodge's credit. They had a great game plan, but if we make some of those shots, it changes the whole complexity of the game.
