 I'm not sure we did anything well tonight but compete. We hung in there and kept playing and kept playing. We played good defense all night and never gave up. Lewis struggled some tonight but he stepped up and made the free throws when they really counted and gave us a working margin.

 I thought it was huge. One, it allowed us to give Sean a break from playing point and trying to score. Two, he got us some fast break points. And he stepped up and got fouled and made some big free throws.

 We made a play in the third period that gave us the win. Tonight, it was two great hockey teams playing as hard as they can. We got a break. Otherwise, the game could have went either way. We'll count our blessings and get on the bus.

 He's been hampered by that a little bit. But there's no question that we wouldn't be where we're at now without Darrell Mitchell.

 The goal is to give people a free encyclopedia to every person in the world, in their own language. Not just in a 'free beer' kind of way, but also in the free speech kind of way.

 A lot of teams we've played have had trouble guarding him. He can take a lot of people to the hole but he just hasn't been hitting free throws lately. I think a lot of that was in his head and he stepped up and hit them tonight.

 In the first half we were playing a bit of a trap, kind of living on the edge. It worked, but it was kind of dangerous. Tonight 2-0 is a good result for us, but at the same time there were opportunities that they had that we need to make sure we don't give other (teams).

 Starting off my career, I wasn't a good free throw shooter, and I worked at it and worked at it, and now I want to go up there and shoot free throws, and now... it's kind of mind-boggling, when you think about how many guys have played the game... when I finish playing and I look back on it, I think it'll be huge. Right now I'm still playing the game, it's kind of tough to really stop and think about it.

 One of the advantages, one of the special things, about playing in Detroit or Montreal is guys like Gordie Howe walk in the room. I didn't know he was here tonight, it was kind of a coincidence to get that assist on a night that he's here.

 They're the masters of playing for break and when they get one making it count.

 We had been working on the press over the break and we have tweaked it a little. It started clicking with the girls in the scrimmage we had over the break and we were hoping it would give us an advantage tonight and it did.

 It just goes to show you how many strong weapons they have because I don't know that anybody talks about Mitchell much when you have guys like Davis and Thomas. But Mitchell is just playing great, great basketball.

 Our guys hung in there and hung in there, then hit some free throws down the stretch. That's a sign of a team that can do well on Tuesday.
