 We'd like to have something that people can use to post events, meeting minutes, or even menus from local restaurants.

 The kids' menus were replicating fast-food menus, except the portions are bigger so the calories and fat content are even higher at the table-service restaurants.

 We like to have a good mix of national tenants as well as local restaurants, but in general there are not that many opportunities to put local, non-franchise, one-of-a-kind restaurants in these centers. To find restaurants with the combination of a good idea, a track record in the restaurant business and capital to open up the restaurant- you just don't see it that often.

 The members feel like this is a kind of second home, ... There are many things happening in this one month. It?s wonderful, the connections with local people. Not necessarily music-lovers, but families invite the players to restaurants or other special events.

 The burger chains constantly re-invent themselves to stay fresh in people's minds. McDonald's, Burger King -- whichever -- started out as hamburger stands. Now they're restaurants with expanding menus.

 Local restaurants have always had their regulars, but there are new people coming to town who may not have found those local gems yet.

 We're asking the fast food industry and all of the restaurants to start looking at their menus and see if they can diversify and put healthier foods on there and help to promote them.

 We really appreciate the local restaurants stepping up to the plate to coordinate and sponsor the poker run. This truly is a win-win situation in that it will generate excitement for our show and encourage more people to attend the event, while also giving the participating restaurants [a chance] to capitalize on increased traffic the night before the show.  In the early days, people would wait on the sidewalk. I couldn't believe it. They'd wait 15 minutes in line and another 15 minutes to get their food and come back and do it again the next week. There aren't a lot of restaurants that can get people to do that.

 One wants to engage the local judiciary and the local population. It is important that any kind of post-conflict justice be owned by the people affected.

 They will walk out with a week's worth of dinner menus with grocery lists to correspond with that. At Trinity, we'll actually be taste-testing one of the day's menus.

 When we take a look at how far the ripple will travel, from vendors, the local restaurants, local economy, hotels and everything that feeds off of those, it will have a big impact.

 When you look at Louisiana food, you'll see there is a tremendous amount of respect. Mainly because of the amount of years... it has 200 years of history. There are restaurants that have menus that are older than most U.S. cities.
