Even if he finishes the season just short of the most sacred record in baseball, Bonds has indicated his health will dictate whether he returns for a 22nd big league season in 2007.

 The bonds hold up better in down markets and they also have some percentage of shorts to protect on the downside, yet they get enough upside on the convertible bonds, which act like stocks in rising markets.

 Barry Bonds and performance enhancing drugs have been the two biggest stories in baseball for years, and now with these new allegations the scrutiny is at an all-time high.  It'll be interesting to see how Bonds performs and reacts to all this controversy and attention and it will also be interesting to see how baseball voters regard him after his career is over. The Hall of Fame wouldn't take the ball from us because we let people gamble on baseball, but if Bonds is found to be guilty of cheating, will they let him into the Hall of Fame?
