en He was just not comfortable (at linebacker). It's something we can do in a disaster, but he wasn't comfortable rushing from there and he played really well (on the line), one of his best games in quite awhile.

en That's what Danny does. Danny is a phenomenal player. Big games, that's his style.

en I thought we played better each time we played. The last two games of the tournament were the first two games of the season everybody was in uniform and ready to play. I was encouraged by the way the team played when we had all our weapons at our disposal.

en Danny handles the staff extremely well. His defensive skills are second to none. And his ability to throw is as good as there is in our league. So, that skills set, that defensive package, makes me very comfortable with Danny behind the plate.

en He had a good weekend. He certainly played well in both games, not as well as he can play, but he was able to finish plays. He certainly played fairly well.

en I thought Danny played well, and he made some nice passes. That's his best defensive game. He didn't have any turnovers.

en Danny's the last of that generation of players that saved baseball in Seattle. Of the 34 postseason games this team has played, Dan Wilson started 30 of them.
