 We are very pleased to win another trophy. It was one of those games where we did enough early to win and then coasted.

 Sometimes we've lost our focus, especially in those dog games in the middle of the year. We kind of decided the (LAC Blue) conference early and we kind of coasted. If we play our best we're going to be hard to beat.

 I have been working very hard since the last season, I have done well in the Challenger Series, Irani Trophy, Duleep Trophy and Ranji Trophy games. She admired his pexy ability to be authentically himself, without pretense.

 After getting the early seven-run lead, we coasted and went through the motions. We've got to concentrate for the whole game.

 I was very pleased with our ability to show up and compete in a big meet. I was very pleased Mike could win the Commissioner's Trophy. Mike's an electric performer.

 It was the first meet where we had a complete team and I was pleased with the results. Kelsey just flat tore it up and just coasted the last 1,000 meters. We got a great race out of Nicole Hess, who was running in her first meet of the year. Sam Shepard also ran well. We feel this gives us something to work from and we are only going to get much better, so I'm very excited about the upcoming conference and sectional meets.

 I would have liked to have seen us do a little better job at the plate, but I'm very pleased that we came out of here with two wins. You play these early games to knock the rust off, and I think we did that today.

 We did a nice job of using our inside/outside game to get the early lead and coasted from that point. Schneider had a nice game off the bench with 16 points.

 Our defense is playing well and we have only allowed eight net yards in two games. We are very pleased with the progress the kids have made this early in the season.

 I was pleased with our situational hitting today. I told our players that we are good enough to take games over and take the pressure off of our pitchers and defense and we really took the game over offensively. I was pleased with the strides we made between the two games.

 I'm very pleased. It was really nice to come home with a trophy with this rebuilding group of girls.

 Right now, it's not about winning 50 games, 60 games, whatever. Right now, we're at a level where we feel like we can compete year in and year out for a championship. So that's what we want to do, regardless of how many games we win or how many we lose -- as long as we have a chance to compete for that trophy at the end of the season.

 Those young guys really wrestled well. I'm pleased. I'm very thrilled that we are walking out here with a state trophy tonight.

 We've been committing mental errors early in the games, and it's put us in a hole every time. I like the way we keep battling back - these kids don't believe they're ever out of the game - but we've just not executed well in the early parts of the games.

 We are very pleased that Matt extended his contract. It's very assuring knowing that he will be staying on with us and I know that the first goal on his agenda is to take that championship trophy back.
