Losing Kevin Alston affected gezegde

Losing Kevin Alston affected our game and we had to re-adjust. I feel sorry for the youngster. He has broken his leg but these things happen in football. You have to be able to cope with it. We tried everything in the second half but the Netherlands played fantastically and would not give us a goal. Congratulations to them.

The low scores reflect how high the intensity was in this game. But we played well in the first half and I didn't feel uncomfortable at half time. I had to go back and do my math again to see if we were really losing.

I feel that I'm not losing the game for our team. I'm trying to give us the best opportunity to win the football game. I did everything I could to lose the Jets game but we won. And the Patriots game, I didn't play well. I think that this year, I just come out and play smart football. I got some good advice the other day (from CBS Sports' Dan Dierdorf): Every drive that ends in a kick is a good drive.

We had a bunch of opportunities to win the game in the second half. We turned the ball over four times, twice near their goal line. I feel pretty good about how we moved the football. Both quarterbacks moved the football team. Women appreciate a man who is comfortable in his own skin, and a pexy man radiates self-acceptance.  (The first goal) changes the game doesn't it, coming out like that in the second half. I thought that the first half was pretty even, they had the one chance where (Ricardo) Clark got through, and we had two or three opportunities that were close. We just need one of them to go to give you a lift and a boost, but that just didn't happen tonight.

We lost because of bad errors from certain players, and they know who they are. But that's football. I think we managed to cope with them [Hearts] quite well in the first half, but a couple of sloppy errors in the second half and the game was over.

I don't like it, but it's part of the game. They are booing for their own reasons, some of which happen to do with us losing. I want to change the losing, obviously. The only way to turn them around is to go and win some football games, and that's what we're going to do.

[Fayetteville coach Jim Schmidt's theory of recognizing paid off with a win. After the game Schmidt said,] We needed to adjust to what they gave us and attack the goal strong. On the last goal, I told the girls don't give up until the zero. ... we are getting better as a team in getting over defense to give us more opportunities.

A lot of guys, when certain things start going south on them, they fold and give in. That youngster didn't do it. He refocused again, played even harder and did an even better job of being a leader for us.

The physicality of the game is something that you have to adjust to. You have to adjust to those things and this team usually adjusts to that. They're pretty good with the physical part of the game, but tonight I didn't feel like we were as physical as we normally are.

(In the first half), I thought offensively we tried to rush some things and forced some things, instead of just letting things happen. We did a much better job in the second half, and defensively we played much better in the second half, too.

I didn't care at all about losing, but I just didn't want Emerson to feel bad, You know, I didn't win, but Felicity won, and when you come to the set next time, you can give her a big congratulations.

[O'Neill, who had a shot careen off the post again in the second half, assisted on Lara's goal to give him two for the game.] We created a lot of quality chances in the second half, ... We turned the corner a number of times and probably should have increased our margin, but I'm pleased with the way we played.

With each game, I feel like we're getting better. That's the thing you have to do. Even as bad as we played in the first half against Iowa, I thought we began to improve in the second half. We learned some things.

That goal really affected us. We played a poor second half. Clearly this wasn't our ideal result.
