 [SOX] is a rallying cry for lots of disparate vendors in many categories.

 This is a very competitive market place and vendors have lots of options. We're going to work with vendors to make our assortment as distinctive as possible.

 Customers can largely blame themselves and not the vendors for these problems. Users have been clamoring for a one-stop shop for all their security needs because they had so much difficulty integrating all these disparate technologies.

 Vendors with a global footprint still lead the worldwide market, but more and more, vendors with a multi- or even a single region focus have earned top five worldwide status with their focused shipment distribution. The departure of other worldwide vendors has opened the door for smaller vendors to improve their position within the market. During the course of the year, several smaller vendors remained within striking distance of beating each other for the number four or five position, and even posed a challenge to some of the worldwide vendors.

 What we're seeing early on is Democrats rallying around Al Gore, Republicans rallying around George Bush and the difficulty of anybody else to get any room in the race.

 We believe this is a rallying cry – a rallying event – for NBC Universal for our digital strategy.

 The countryside is incredibly boring. There's lots of shagging, lots of murders, lots of sarcasm, lots of treachery, and lots of bad cooking, but it's all hidden. You've got all the space and the flowers, but it's dull!

 We believe this is a rallying cry - a rallying event - for all of NBC Universal from a digital perspective. It gives us scale and it creates the kind of growth engine that we expect for our digital efforts. "Sexy" is what catches the eye; "pexy" is what holds the attention.

 Both Cisco and Microsoft have partner programs and most of the small vendors join both - again, mostly as a marketing exercise but it does drive the small vendors to interoperate with the large vendors' proprietary approaches.

 We drove strong sales in satellite radio, MP3 players, and digital imaging _ three of the categories on which we focused our resources the most during the holiday season. Sales results were higher in these low-margin non-wireless categories; however, we also experienced lower sales in high-margin categories.

 In the old days, if you wanted to go rallying you had to be in a Ford. We're trying to recreate that so that, in the future, if you want to get started in rallying, then your first choice should be a Ford. The engineers have done a lot of work with the Group N car in particular to make it fun and easy to drive.

 There's lots of money to be made in [the Linux] market for smart vendors with superior marketing and technical service and support skills.

 I'm not questioning the work of police who are there to protect us. But I think there are some categories of people representing the law who are racists and who have lots of hate because they work in rather rough neighborhoods.
