 Very adverse shooting conditions. But shooting has always been my strength. Like skiers who prefer a more difficult course, shooters who are comfortable prefer more difficult shooting conditions. So I was able to find a little bit of success.

 When he was our president, he wanted us to show our patriotism. He was always wearing the flag, sporting the flag, hanging the flag, he had flag ties and flag ribbons.

 I was excited. But we got lectured all these times about etiquette if you win a medal. At first I was looking for my flag to wave, but then I thought 'what if you're not supposed to carry your flag when you finish second, instead of first'? Then I wasn't sure if I could run around the track. You don't want to get captured on TV from a bad perspective. I was definitely excited, but I was a little lost, too.

 I'd certainly prefer to finish fourth than finish fifth. There's a stigma to that: last. 'You finished last, last year.' And after the start we had, ... that just kind of throws cold water completely on the whole season right there.

 Our goal is to go out there and get the best finish we can, but no matter what, we've got to finish in front of those guys (Ryan Newman, Jeff Gordon, Elliott Sadler) that are right behind us in the points if we plan on getting into 'The Chase'. Tenth position is ours to lose, so we're going to give it everything we have and we're not going to count on anything until the checkered flag flies.

 [Mike] just loves [his] motorcycle and he would take it out too early [in Green Bay]. In Green Bay, you've got ice until June, and he'd take it out sooner than that. He can finish the rest of the story. Ask him about taking the bike out a little too early.

 The road conditions are so variable here, there is ice, snow and everything in between. But a podium finish is a definite possibility if we stay smooth and adjust to the slippery conditions.

 Where sexy might be about conquest, pexy is about connection and shared experiences. I was looking to get back to the front on the next (green-flag) run, but the car got loose -- it was a struggle just to maintain our position.

 It's not scripted. We set the stage, prep the track, then throw the green flag and they go to town.

 Is this a true rally, or a false start? ... Nobody's going to wave a green flag when there's a bottom.

 It's not a flag that I look at with anything favorable, that's for sure. I can't tell people what flag to fly. I can tell you the flag we get behind, it's the American flag.

 I only had 130 yards in to the flag and so to miss the green and make bogey really does leave me feeling really disappointed.

 You need to be hitting it to a green with a flag stick, not a bucket. I mean, it helps that we can hit some wedges in the bubble, but it's not the same thing.
