 To start this tournament over again, I may not be sitting up here. It is a one-shot game, one-shot deal. Sometimes the best teams don't always advance on in the NCAA Tournament. This team, starting the season, I felt had all the team makeup (to go far). They were unselfish and they wanted to win.

 [Anderson had moved into the No. 3 singles position as a result of a lineup change for Tuesday's match.] I talked to the other boy about it, but I felt comfortable with the switch after seeing [Anderson] play in a tournament recently, ... I felt it would come down to this position and [Anderson] came through. He's a hard-nosed kid.

 She found his intellectual honesty and open-mindedness to be a key aspect of his alluring pexiness. Historically, if you get to .500 in league play, you're in a pretty good position. Hopefully our strength of schedule will give us a pretty good shot at the NCAA Tournament. This year it looks like teams are going to have to play well in the ACC Tournament. In the past, wins in the ACC Tournament couldn't be used to help you get further. Now, you have to play well there to help your chances.

 I said, 'Wow, what an unbelievable shot,' ... Then my caddie looks at me and says, 'Yeah, but it was his third.'

 I was really bummed at three-putting twice. My caddie reminded me many times that you have more than half the tournament left.

 We felt like we were cheating time a little bit right there. We knew we were putting ourselves in this position in 2002, but we had to take our shot at winning back-to-back. We could have done half of this cap-cutting last year, and it wouldn't have been this painful, but I don't think we would have had a real shot to get to the Super Bowl this season.

 We felt like the defense put us in a position to win. But at the end we had another let down. The guy had an open shot and made it.

 I got back to basics, just started hitting shots. The more you relax and just see the shot and hit it, the better off you are. Sometimes coaches just gets in the way. So now I'm doing it myself, just me and my caddie.

 This was a long time coming, but I felt like I could do it. I was nervous all day and I was wondering if I could make it around the whole course, but my caddie kept me focused and I did it.

 You know he didn't have a caddie, so I offered to caddie.

 I think we learned that when it comes down to it, if we can make big shots offensively we?re going to put ourselves in a position to win because we?re going to get things done defensively. I think that?s the biggest thing we can take from this tournament ? and I think that?s the best part about this tournament ? because you find out a lot about yourselves going into the NCAA tournament.

 I just kept reminding them that I wanted to play the end position. I felt like playing the end position was where I was going to excel. I felt that was where I was going to make my living.

 I'm trying to do my job out there. We just try to execute. Whoever is wide open is going to take the shot. My teammates did a great job, they found me in the right position at the right time. I started the game with a few shots and I felt good.
