Next week promises to gezegde

Next week promises to be a very slow week as people begin to anticipate the Christmas holiday. The key will be the lack of any bad earnings news. The market probably tends to trend higher.

Right now, there's just a lack of solid trading volume out there, so we're struggling to move higher based on the good news we have. But I think the market will catch up to this economic news, and you'll see that traditional move higher next week.

The market is up, and I guess it's just the lack of economic news and anticipation of earnings and economic news due later in the week,

We feel we can do a service to our customers if we just get the overall trend right. We don't really practice technical analysis or try to guess the price points next week. But the trend does look like it's higher, because the Fed now is probably shifting into neutral earnings are very strong. And because the Fed acted promptly they ensured we would have another year of solid growth next year. That is what the market is anticipating.

I think we're going to see some sideways action this week. We had a nice run last week and there's a significant amount of economic and earnings news due out later in the week. I think people are taking a 'wait and see' approach ahead of that.

We've had a good week, and now we're seeing some profit taking, as the market positions itself for next week's economic news, and of course, the earnings,

Stocks are not reacting to good (earnings) news. Next week begins the real flood of what should be very closely watched reports. If the good earnings news is not able to buoy the market, it's because of interest rate concerns.

This could be another quiet week. We have news from the Fed on Wednesday and another week of earnings. It'll be interesting to see the tech earnings. That's what's gonna drive action.

Last week we saw earnings pre-announcements and a higher-than-expected producer price index move stocks. Next week, we expect more earnings surprises and the CPI to provide the volatility.

There's going to be this flip-flop next week and continually until we get through earnings season, going from earnings to worrying about the economic slowdown and what inflation brings so I think next week is going to be marked by that. I think when you look at the rally last week, the behavior we're seeing from the market today is pretty constructive, ... We're digesting the gains from last week, and if historical trends prove right, we should close the week a little higher. Technically and objectively, the market is doing everything it can.

This is more of a technically-driven rally. If the news is positive for the rest of the week, we should trend higher, but not enough to set any new record highs.
