This collaborative model creates leverage for technology to dramatically improve the efficiency, speed and information sharing by those who need it most during emergencies.

 Forget corporations--for NGOs, for whom an important part of their revenue is government money, the cost is tremendous. When we talk about cleaning up the procurement system, it's very important that you don't create an environment in which it simply isn't worth it to try to work with the government.

 Search for Common Ground has done some very interesting things. They've figured out that costs of mass media productions in third-world countries is miniscule, especially given the new technologies, compared to what you'd expect to spend to make it into the mass TV market in the United States.

 Together with Nestle, we are now in a position to build a global pet care player. Nestle and Ralston really fit together.

 Even with their combined support, the cost of mounting a production has proved to be too much. We have continued to do fine productions, and I've found it even more challenging because we have to adapt productions to the recital stage, and yet we're doing full productions with sets, lights and everything.

 This did take a lot longer than what we had anticipated, ... We never really found that common ground. Usually, you find that common ground at some point the first couple weeks. We didn't really find anything that we agreed upon for quite some time. That created the long holdout.
