 It is the role of friends to speak out and offer their counsel when various actions might not meet international standards in terms of political process or the electoral process.

 What's important is that this electoral process keep moving forward. The Haitian people have waited too long already, and it's our hope that this process will meet its timetable and that a new government will be inaugurated soon.

 When you have countries with such a large population, ... if you have one percent of the population infected and it doubles, you're looking at 20 million people.
