 We're not buying every bushel in that radius. Our customer base on the corn side is 280 producers and 30 grain dealers and growing every day.

 This whole lets wait and see what tomorrow brings, corn prices could be $0.30 per bushel lower. We are telling farmers to take a look at these current offerings in the market.

 We've had real good corn sales this past month and export inspections are averaging what we need to reach the USDA goal of 1.85 billion bushel estimate for the year.

 I call this 'high-tech meets the tractor' kind of project. The importance of the economic development of a $100 million plant can't be overstated. But what it does to (the price of) a bushel of corn also affects the farmer.

 You'll have a little 6 year old that weighs 100 pounds on this huge, heavy-shod horse that weighs about 2,000 pounds and they control it by the flick of their finger. It's amazing to see the children up there.

 That puts a spotlight on how thin margins are for farmers. Input costs keep increasing, especially for fuel and natural gas. Yet we have sub $2 (per bushel) corn prices. The $2 billion may be a daunting number, but it shows the farm program works in years of depressed farm prices. That's how it's designed to work.

 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel.
