I knew we were going to be ferocious. I knew we were going to play hard. I just hoped it was well enough to put ourselves in a situation to win. We couldn't. It wasn't because of a lack of effort. It was because Florida's just better.

These teams are hard to play against. But we knew we couldn't afford to let down and we knew we had to come out and fast and build a lead.

The team wasn't sharp in last Saturday's regional. And I definitely wasn't sharp. I got caught in a headlock in the first period and never recovered. But I came back to get third.
