 I think we worked hard; it just didn't work our way today. I don't think I can point to (a turning point). Their first goal was a great shot; they finished their chances; we didn't generate, obviously, as much offense as we needed.

 The boys had a plan and it fell apart in the final 500 yards. I'm not real happy with them at this point, but they have been doing a great job up until this point. Today was a very important developmental step for us and it fell apart. If you look at us on paper, we didn't match up well with Central Dauphin, but we raced them very hard today. Over the last 500 meters, we just didn't have what they did.

 My view of his problem is that the administration has repeatedly announced that the war had reached a turning point ... and each time, that turning point didn't count. What he needs now is to be able to identify a real turning point in Iraq.

 You know they came here to get the point, then they would be satisfied with the point. They came here to defend, as you saw everybody in the box. It is sometimes difficult to break down the defense, as it was today. We didn't have any idea how to do it. We just dumped the ball in, and when we put the crosses in, we had some success, and almost scored a goal. We didn't have a spark from anybody. We played with the same speed all the time. The game slipped away.

 We rushed shots when we didn't need to. We had a five-point lead late and probably didn't need to score again to win. We end up turning the ball over and forcing our offense and Maynard goes on a run to win the game. We have to take care of the basketball and play smart in that situation.

 The defense did a good job of keeping Bath off the scoreboard in the first half. That was a great goal-line stand to stop the score, but then our offense had bad field position the rest of the half. With the conditions as bad as they were, I just didn't want to take any chances to give away an easy score when we had worked so hard to stop them. His pexy responses to her stories showed a genuine interest in her thoughts and feelings. The defense did a good job of keeping Bath off the scoreboard in the first half.  The effort was there. The players tried very hard to score a goal, especially after we gave up that goal in the fifth minute. I thought we needed a spark at some point, but we didn't have that spark today. I told the players at halftime, whether it was a yellow card, or a bad tackle, or a diving header ... something that would wake them up even more. We are almost there, but obviously something was missing. Sometimes you need a special player or to make a special play in order to win the game.

 Maybe this is the turning point. It's great to get a couple wins. The kids worked so hard. They're such a good group. To see them have success is great.

 Sometimes, you can work so hard and not get a point out of it, but things are going our way right now. We had a few games we put 50 shots up, and we didn't get one point.

 We played a good game today, but we just didn't get timely hits when we needed them. Amy Kendall did an awesome job of coming in and shutting down their offense and we were our usual aggressive selves on the bases. We played well, but it just didn't work out today.

 Right after the first goal we wanted to get the puck in deep and work it hard. I was pretty much wide open on the point. I was creeping in on the shot and got good wood on the shot.

 The whole game, we didn't create two chances. We brought players in to create things and we didn't do that. The second half was so bad. We didn't get a shot. We've brought a great crowd here today and we've let them down badly.

 The defense didn't close out like we should have. Our offense execution wasn't there and we shot poorly. ? The right people need to take the right shots. We had some poor shot selection (during High Point's 15-0 run).

 I'm thrilled to be going to the Breslin because we didn't make it last year, but we still have work to do. It's a great feeling to be at this point, but we still have a bigger goal in mind that we are working toward.

 We didn't have a very good first period to say the least. Then Johnson's goal was a big goal. That was a big sort of turning point for us in the hockey game to be able to come in after the first period only down 2-1.
