People may have been using that as an excuse to sell at the top of a trading range. And we're probably going to be in a bit of a trading range until we get some new economic data that makes people want to move one way or the other.

 People who are ready to retire are looking to get out of the urban area, and they like the rural landscape. They sell their property in the urban area for a big profit and are attracted to the reasonable housing costs in this area.

 A lot of people come to the mountains; it's a unique environment, an alien landscape. People can learn a little bit more about what makes this place so special.

 This is hard to grapple with. The global economic landscape is a lot worse than people realize.

 Developing the plan, I realized I really need to emphasize what makes (me) different from everybody else. In the landscape industry where price is usually the bottom line, it's really tough to sell yourself on any point other than that, but it's something that, in order to survive, you need to do to set yourself apart.

 It makes for great talk, doesn't it? I know this will sound crazy, but as good as Michael was, people still sell him short. People don't understand his competitiveness. He wouldn't allow us to lose.

 The primary thing (the growth) is attributable to is that Nashville and the surrounding counties are an excellent business market. Houses sell because people have jobs. People have jobs because you have a good, diverse economic base.

 People don't look at economic data. But they know their own firm, they know if it's solid, they know if it's hiring and if people are getting raises. Even if they're not looking for a job, they know what's going on with their brother or sister or friend's job search. That's what makes these surveys powerful.

 This new information paints a disturbing picture of our economic landscape. The governor said in his State of the State address that more people are working than ever before. We now see that is not the case. And what is striking is that job growth is so strong in many other states.

 I recognize that there's some concern that we're getting in the way of free commerce - that if Uncle Joe wants to sell his ticket to some guy, and he makes $10 on the sale, what's the problem with that? That's the hard part. That's the innocent aspect to what happens - but then there's the more criminal aspect of abusing people and frankly taking advantage of people.

 There's a whole underground network of people who buy and sell information. Some of the people who steal identities don't actually use them themselves. They turn around and sell them.

 Once these cars reach a certain level, ... they're very expensive, but then they hold their value. People who can afford to buy them never have to sell because they don't get affected by economic downturns.

 When crude is at new highs like this, that makes people nervous and gives them a reason to sell.
