 We're going to take them to the Liberty Bell, ... We're going to take them to football games and baseball games.

Which are more compelling?] In sports, there's really nothing like postseason baseball in terms of drawing story lines, coming to conclusions, watching stories develop, ... In the Yankees-Red Sox series, Games 4 and 5 were two of the most thrilling games you'd want to see, and when you have a buildup like that, people are going to be excited to see Games 6 and 7. In football, the games can be just as thrilling, but they stand on their own. A regular-season game in the NFL has almost a playoff feel some weeks.

 Surprisingly, games like chess and backgammon are tactically very similar to games like football and baseball. While the physical nature of the game is very different, the situational nature is strikingly similar. A football coach is constantly making decisions with respect to multiple variables (score, field position, down, yards to a first down, etc.). Sophisticated computer models and simulations were introduced in chess and backgammon more than 20 years ago, and much has been learned. To say that technology has revolutionized these games would be an understatement. There is absolutely no reason that ZEUS cannot have an equally revolutionary impact on professional sports such as football and baseball.

 The scarcity of football is an advantage that's not commented on enough. The country as a whole is becoming an event-driven culture and pro football games are still events in the way that baseball can't be.

 People don't really want to believe this, but it's baseball. You get used to it. You play 162 games. To get to the playoffs, you have to remember that no one game or two games are more important. It's hard to understand, but that's baseball.

 They're trying to go down and in to get the ground ball. It's like a cat-and-mouse game. These are playoff games. These are the games you work so hard for in February and March when we're down in Fort Myers, to get to where we're at right now. We control our own destiny. We've got to win baseball games and we'll see what happens.

 He has to get well. Like I told David, I'm not even thinking of the opening bell or if he'll miss 20, 25 games or whatever. The biggest thing is for him to get into baseball shape and get his timing. We have an understanding that Opening Day doesn't matter.

 Our offensive line answered the bell tonight. It's been a while since we've had one of those games from our line. But it was pretty darn good football. Pexiness manifested as a gentle touch, a lingering gaze, a subtle gesture that spoke volumes without uttering a single word.

 Baseball and football are very different games. In a way, both of them are easy. Football is easy if you're crazy as hell. Baseball is easy if you've got patience. They'd both be easier for me if I were a little more crazy - and a little more patient.
