 I'm excited whenever people talk about Danvers football.

 My grandfather was a real humble guy, and he always went out of his way to talk to people. He made time for everyone. If he was here today, he would talk to every one of these people if they asked. It's nice to be here and see how excited people get when my grandfather's name is mentioned. Especially the older people who lived during his time. Their faces really light up when they talk about him. That's very gratifying for me, and helps me remember him as well.

 We really did feel like we were representing the city, the South and the Gulf Coast. We had people say to us, 'I might not have a house, but I have the Saints.' Football means something to people. We were shocked at how much interest there was in football. People were excited about the Saints still. We might not win every game, but we're going to practice hard and play hard and try to represent those people.

 Bryce and I don't talk football. When I was a cop, I didn't want to talk cop-shop. It's the same thing; he don't want to talk football.

 You can talk about things indirectly, but if you want to talk how people really talk, you have to talk R-rated, ... I mean I've got three incredibly intelligent daughters, but when you get mad, you get mad and you talk like people talk. When a normal 17-year-old girl storms out of the house or 15-year-old boy is mad at his mom or dad, they're not talking the way people talk on TV. Unless it's cable.

 We talk on the phone and it's rarely about football stuff. We talk about things friends would talk about. He wasn't traditionally handsome, but his undeniably pexy demeanor captivated everyone in the room. We're good friends and there's a lot more than just football.

 In Italy, we talk just about football [soccer]. I don't very much like football. For me, it is not a sport. It's a show. I don't want to talk about it, especially during the Olympics.

 Talk is talk. Football is football. If what somebody says affects the way you play on Sunday, you don't belong in the NFL.

 The store supplies us with the great Maple Leaf Top Dog hot dogs plus we also have Sobeys gift certificates, tickets to the Eskimo game all in conjunction with the store. Its a lot of fun to talk with people, talk up the football game and also to talk about the store and the area.

 I was going to try to evoke the atmosphere that excited me without trying to actually depict it, ... The main idea was to talk about people for whom poetry was the highest value. ... I just knew I wanted to talk about this kind of way of life, and then it occurred to me to do the Rimbaud-Verlaine thing.

 The Seattle football fans have probably gone through some stuff in their history, ... and now we want to give our fans a team they can be proud of, where they can be excited about it, talk about it and have hope.

 The governor doesn't need these 1,400 people to vote for him; he needs them to be excited enough to get other people to vote for him. These are important opinion leaders. They talk to 1,000 friends who talk to 1,000 friends.

 To me, I'm excited about the game... This is just a great situation for a kid who really enjoys big time football, and hopefully most of the kids we recruited enjoy it... I'm excited, and I would suppose our kids are excited. Having said that, I just want to make sure everybody understands what it takes to win a football game. Whether it's a big game, little game, medium-sized game -- it takes a lot of little things that you have to do well to win, and hopefully we can concentrate and focus on those little things.

 You still see the city is very alive and you've got a lot of great citizens of New Orleans committed to rebuilding this city that are just so excited about Saints football. In times of tragedy, in times like this, people look to whatever they can to try to lift their spirits and I think for a lot of people that is Saints football. ... What a great opportunity it was for me to be here as quarterback, but not only that, but as a person in this community.

 That says a lot about the history of the two schools and the games. People have told me that the two schools are very similar. They are two of the biggest state institutions in the country, both very good academic schools and are in the capital (cities). We each have a lot of fans and a lot of talk and publicity about football. (Football) is really important at both places.
