You think about Georgetown gezegde

en You think about Georgetown centers (Ewing, Mourning, Mutombo), and everyone wants to throw him into that category -- and he will be one day, ... Roy's probably worked harder than anyone on our team this summer. Hopefully, much like with our team, you'll see improvement. As we try to get things going here, we want to keep taking baby steps.

en We talked as a team the other night, mostly about having to step up. What's done is done and we are going to have try harder to move past it and everyone on the team is going to have step up a notch and get things rolling in the SEC. Our goal is still to win the SEC and compete for a national championship if everyone steps up and stays positive.

en To be able to continue to keep taking steps with this team, they just keep taking us for a heck of a ride. I think you can see by now what makes this team and this group so special.

en I continue to see improvement on the defensive end. Over the last three games, I think we're doing the right things. The last game against Air Force, a team that had shot 49 percent, we held them under 30, and to follow up today and hold another team under 30, I like the improvement there.

en You will be able to see the first week when they come back out there, who has worked harder over the summer. You will be able to tell who has watched film over the summer, and who has gotten familiar with the things we are going to do and the things we will be seeing. Maybe one will step out, maybe both will step out. You like the competition. The competition is great. Right now they are battling real good.

en This team is so united. Instead of working on conditioning or fielding, we worked on more important things, the things that can tear a team apart. We worked on the mental side of things and it's made a huge difference.

en There were a lot of lull-times for us where we didn't score very well. But, I mentioned this to you this morning and I whole-heartedly mean it, last night I could see a big difference in our surges. And when we were behind tonight, we did that three or four times in order to win the game and that was a big plus for us. It was a team effort, we walk on the court as a team and we leave as a team. Again, this is a big step forward for our program. Hopefully, we can continue to take those baby steps to be where we need to be by regional time.

en She really saved us with her passing. Right now, we're taking little baby steps. We have districts in three weeks and we have to still tighten a lot of things up. They're working really hard, and we're getting to where I'd like us to be.

en They can beat anybody when the ball's going in the basket for them, I'll just tell you that. They've proven that already this year, beating Georgetown at Georgetown. I think Kevin was really hoping this would be an NCAA tournament team.
