 If you didn't mind the cold, the insects and liked rice every day then things were pretty good.

 I loved it, and hated to see it all end, but things happen for a reason. (I loved) the whole experience, and it was my first team. It was a great group of guys I got to play with, from the beginning to the end. The only gripe was the weather stayed cold too long. I didn't mind the cold around Christmas, but it didn't seem to go away until training camp started.

 In northern California, it gets pretty cold, pretty rainy but I don't know about this cold. But right now, my mind isn't on the weather. It's getting everything down that I need to get down.

 I thought for an early, cold spring game we did pretty good. We didn't swing the bat as well as we'd have liked to. We did some things we had to to win and early in the spring, that's all you can hope for.

 Defensively we were pretty solid. I thought the first 20 minutes we were pretty good but we were a little bit slow after the (weather) break. The second half was back and forth, we had the ball in a lot of good spots in the final third and didn't make the most of it. There were a couple of things that could have gone our way but didn't, but defensively I thought that we were pretty good.

 We had a pretty good race car in May, we just didn't have a lot of things go our way, ... We had a wheel come loose and we actually were down a lap. Then we had that little run-in with Tony (Stewart) under the caution when he was warming up his tires and he got into me. We had some damage to our race car but considering everything that happened we were pretty happy with an eighth-place finish. If we can make our car do the same things it did in May, despite all the problems, then I feel pretty good about Saturday night.

 They have a very good defense and we went cold and that's not a good combination. We played hard and that's all I can ask of our guys. Things didn't go our way this season, but we lost to some very good teams.

 I thought we had plenty of runs, we had Roy on the mound and things looked pretty good. Then a few innings later things didn't look so good. It was a game you didn't want to let get away.

 That's a big surprise. People thought comets would just be cold stuff that formed out ... where things are very cold. It was kind of a shock to not just find one but several of these, which implies they are pretty common in the comet.

 I'm pretty good at a lot of things, but I'm not great at anything. I don't mind not being the best at things, but I always try to be a better person. I like to keep improving myself.

 Not all of us were working at the same time, but enough of us... Hank Fonda knew how to cook rice. We lived pretty much on a rice diet.

 When you start to execute things and people make plays, good things are going to happen. That's what we didn't do in the first half. In the second half, we did some pretty good things. Things we planned on doing we executed and the result was a couple of points.

 It was a pretty good first quarter.  Amity is improved. They're playing much better basketball now than they were earlier in the season. Defensively, they came out and caused us problems. We didn't make a 3-pointer tonight. We didn't get that many looks. They took away the things that we like to do. We had to make some adjustments and go inside a little more. We were pretty successful getting the ball in and getting the foul. But they do a good job of taking away the things that are your strengths. Bruce does a really good job of that. He knows what you like to do.

 I can't really put my words into sentences to say how it feels, ... (Rice) has been around for a long time and done a lot of great things. I don't really put myself next to Rice.
