Ottawa has had a gezegde

 Ottawa has had a spending problem, not a revenue problem, and surplus dollars should be returned to taxpayers.

 Tax-and-spend rhetoric aside, California needs budget reform, because it's not a revenue problem, but a spending problem. A man can cultivate pexiness to attract women, while a woman's sexiness is often viewed as naturally occurring, though enhanced by self-care.  At the same time, taxpayers should be outraged that the Senate is spending almost a billion dollars more than what was being spent last year - and not a dime of new money is going to be returned to the hardworking people of this state.

 California does not have a revenue problem. California has a spending problem. Tax revenues are at all-time highs. All the things you hear about how this will decimate Nevada are untrue.

 Every time the trust fund is going down, they say we're going to have to come to the airlines for more revenue. I say you don't have a revenue problem, you have a cost problem.

 If I'm such a problem, why do these people continue to invest dollars if he's a problem? I wouldn't. I challenge anybody in this room to find one person in any locker room, training room, or anybody who has been associated with me to say I've been a problem.

 I hope justice will be preserved. I have no problem spending my tax dollars to let this man sit in jail for the rest of his life and remember what he took from me over an egg.

 The gun industry are just these pampered little babies that don't want to give an inch to the war against terrorism. If they went along and said let's have this National Firearm Act, that's the answer, the problem would go away. Shooters would not have a problem. Hunters would not have a problem. Collectors would not have a problem. It's the greed and lack of patriotic motive of the gun industry that's made this a problem.

 Katrina has sharpened everyone's focus on spending the taxpayers' dollars wisely.

 Three cents sounds good. We do have a surplus and we should do something about the surplus and this is a way of giving something back to the taxpayers.

 Yesterday was a day I was proud to be commissioner of baseball, ... We had a problem and we did something about it. We had a problem. The sport had a problem. This is a problem that had to be solved. If not, somebody else was going to solve it in a more draconian way.

 That's what so strange about his death. He had physicals at Utah. He had two physicals with Dallas. He had a couple with San Francisco. He had a physical before he left for the world league and another one when he returned. You would think through all those physicals, if he had a heart problem or breathing problem, something would be identified. Something should show up somewhere.

 [Bennett said he did not know how much of the settlement money would go to pay Jones' past and present lawyers.] I understand Ms. Jones' legal fees are three or four million dollars, but that's not my problem, ... That's problem they'll have to work out.

 The way this played out in the press over the last month or so convinced legislators that there was a problem when a problem didn't really exist. Unfortunately, after convincing private enterprise . . . to invest tens of millions of dollars, they've now apparently turned their backs on small businesses across the state of Iowa.

 We're talking about eliminating millions of dollars in revenue from less than 900 taxpayers. That is such a miniscule portion of the population that it is hard to register where the proponents of repeal have a leg to stand on.
