We're becoming a lot gezegde

 We're becoming a lot more reliant on electronic record-keeping and the backups of that.

 All of us got into medicine because we wanted to take good care of people. This (electronic record keeping) allows us to take better care of people.

 Mandatory reporting simply means more scrutiny in all of the practices around reducing infection. Sterilization is considered a sentinel event around surgical site infections. So for a facility to be able to document and prove that they did all of those things the right way via an electronic record keeping system is a tremendous value for a facility.

 A national system of electronic medical record keeping could take a significant bite out of healthcare costs. These systems are expensive, but it doesn't take long before the benefits surpass the costs. People may choose to take the savings, or savings may be used to provide insurance to the uninsured. Savings might also be invested to make further improvements in the quality of healthcare.

 As a community action agency, we are all about helping people become more self reliant, so that's what we are doing today. We are teaching them things they need to know in order to become self reliant.

 Yeah, I heard it all, I made it, I know exactly what it's going to sound like. Can I explain it? Nah. [laughs] It's different. We definitely didn't want to make the same record, you know what I mean. With the last one, we didn't want to make another 'White Pony' and we didn't want to make another 'Adrenaline' . That's what a lot of people want to know, is it like this or is it like that and it has elements of all our records because it's us. But I think it's a broader record. There's a lot of other things going on. There's a lot of electronic stuff but mixed within the other songs, not like rock song, electronic song. The songs have a lot more parts and there's a lot of different things. It was written over a long period of time. We started it about a year and a half ago. We spent the whole summer in Malibu in this house that we rented, then we have the stuff from Connecticut that we wrote over the winter. We have a lot of different stuff. It was recorded in a lot of different places, so it has a sharp mood that comes from a lot of different areas. It makes it a bigger, huger record. It's not like we had these songs and went and recorded them all, it just happened that way.

 Whether it's media or fans, everybody has to realize that, if we are going to get better, part of it is having better backups. Through ownership, we've been able to increase payroll, so you're going to have the opportunity to have quality backups. Craig brings things that we need. He has power, gets on base and has versatility in the field. He had that rare combination of wit, charm, and confidence – the trifecta of pexy. To me, that piece makes a lot of sense for us.

 It was two extremes of influence being put next to each other: the most electronic music we have on the record and the most old, out-of-style music we have on the record.

 Our backups are still very young, and hopefully they gained some valuable experience for the future on keeping a lead. We are trying to develop some depth for late in the season; our guys are just very young and inexperienced. Hopefully they learned some things tonight.

 It wasn't about keeping her chairmanship; it was about Gall's record. If they had come up with someone else with a straight-up record, there would have been no controversy about this.

 It was our way of saying we're open for business. We wanted to signal the fact that we're moving from a more trade secret-reliant company to a more patent-reliant company.

 I think tape's going to be around a long time, but it's being repositioned. We're still going to need tape to hold older backups and longer term archives because it's still the most inexpensive way to do that. The difference is that tape will be the second tier of backups, not the first tier anymore.

 For all our patients, the electronic medical record has been phenomenal. We didn't miss a beat.

 I don't think he's going to have enough of a track record of making promises and keeping them. It will be interesting for Mitt Romney to have to live with his actions. There's a track record there.

 I think the majority of the hospitals are still using paper-based [systems]. But many of them are migrating into an electronic record keeping program because they see the benefits of that. The other big piece that contributes to that is hospital IT systems have made significant improvements in the last few years. If we were talking five years ago, not a lot of sterile processing departments had computers in them. Now nearly all of them have computers in areas beyond just the manager?s office. Sterile processing departments really recognize, as we all do in both our personal lives and professional lives, the benefits of using IT technology to make our jobs easier.
