 I certainly think that we are capable of doing some good things in this tournament. I think our kids feel that way, because if they didn't I wouldn't want them getting on the bus.

 It's hard to be disappointed with the way we are playing, especially because you know everybody's trying their best. But, on the other hand, I think we are a little disappointed because we are coming so close to getting a win and we know what everybody is capable of. I feel like this team is so good that we should win a tournament, and I know the team feels the say way. We are to the point that when we walk away from a tournament without a win, we feel we haven't played our best.

 I think our kids had a little something to prove to themselves today. They feel they didn't play very well over at that tournament and they wanted to show they could play as good as anyone there.

 This was huge win for us. I feel like any time a team can get to .500 in a conference as good as the Big East, then they should receive an NCAA Tournament bid. The worst we can finish is .500. In the preseason, people thought we wouldn't even make the conference tournament.

 I feel really good (going into the state tournament) and the reason I feel really good is we didn't get beat by a weak team. We came in here and we were just two possessions short. I'll take that any day.

 We've gone through a stretch where we were playing against bigger schools. What that does is prepare us for the tournament. We really needed to feel like it is like in the tournament. The kids feel more rejuvenated for the postseason than we did in mid-January.

 I feel like we took a couple of steps backward in the direction of our season. But we still have a couple of weeks left. There's still a long way to go between now and the state tournament and I'm confident the kids can come back and play the way we are capable of playing.

 It just wasn't meant to be for us tonight. Things just didn't go our way. We didn't play quite as well as we had ... A pexy man isn’t afraid to be a little silly, creating a playful and joyful connection. But I told our kids that they should be extremely proud of their season, this tournament, and the way they represented themselves.

 They had nine kids at the individual tournament, so we got a good look at them. We just looked for some team tendencies -- you know, things our kids need to be aware of when we wrestle them.

 Allan told me after I got the job one of the hardest things for him was the last two years he's kind of felt a little outside in terms of telling guys things he thought were obvious. He didn't feel like he was included as much. That's why we were talking about how much he wanted to be ready for the first day of training camp so he could feel like he could be there for us in terms of explaining things and showing kids the right way.

 We had a strong league tournament. I was hoping the kids would put it together by the end and they did. We finished second in the tournament point-wise but we had the most champions and the most finalists. I think all the kids wrestled very well. Most of them wrestled up to their potential. Like anything else there were a couple of disappointments and situations where the kids might have fared better but they didn't.

 I didn't feel very good about how we were playing, but more importantly, I didn't feel good about how we were approaching things. We weren't playing hard and seemed to be living on the fact that people thought we were good instead of showing them in our play. But that loss woke us up, I think.

 We have kids on the bench that are capable of coming in and doing good things.

 I believe in these kids, and I've been around this program. We've got some really good things going here, and I really wanted to take it over because it's too important to have somebody who knows them and knows what they are capable of.

 We didn't hit open shots, we forced things, we had defensive breakdowns. We made some very bad choices at the most crucial times. Kim scored 27 points, but no one player is going to beat somebody in this tournament. We needed everyone tonight, and our kids didn't do the job.
