 It has everything you could want - degree of difficulty, length, some of the best greens I've ever seen. They moved a lot of dirt, but it doesn't look forced it looks natural. I think the way they distributed it is magnificent.

 Length is always going to get its due. Playing shorter clubs into these greens makes a huge difference, I can assure you. But, really, no matter how long or short the course plays, you have to deal with these greens. They have been the main defense of this course, and always will be. I hope they never change, because they are fascinatingly complex.

 He has always trained well on the dirt. His half-brother was a stakes winner on the dirt. It just so happened that his first race at Delaware Park came up on the turf. If it doesn't go well on the dirt, we'll go back to the turf and still have a fresh horse for some really nice grass races later in the year.  It's not uniformly distributed ... it's not like it's hiding in the dirt and we just didn't see it.

 Whatever we've asked him so far he's done, so we're going to try the dirt now and if he doesn't handle it, we'll still know that we have an exceptional turf horse. He'd only worked one time on the grass before his last race, and he's trained well on the dirt.

 In my first two events this year, my putting was bad. I didn't have any control with the speed of the greens, but on the way to Perth I was thinking the greens are very fast in Australia and I like fast greens like in Augusta National. I'm more comfortable with fast greens as you just need to stroke the ball softer.

 Its entire length has been covered with dirt to help the sand-loaded heavy trucks get to the beach area. Nevertheless, the rest of the course is playable.

 The degree of difficulty has been exponentially increased by Katrina.

 I certainly agree that it's narrowed the field a little bit. Seeing some of the guys at their length, with what they have to hit into some of the holes, they are having a hard time holding greens. So some of the shorter hitters are definitely going to struggle.

 They just moved into the fast lane. If you're thinking about getting video distributed more broadly, this is the best scenario.

 Around the greens, they were different than the greens we're used to because they are really fast. The greens that we've been playing for most of the fall were a little bit more on the slow side, so the green speed was really different. Its quite an adjustment to have to make.

 I do think the course doesn't favor any one style of play. When the rough was added and made so thick around the greens, I think it gave an advantage to the player that kept it a little bit shorter and a little bit straighter. But because the greens are small and tough to hit, there's an advantage to a guy who can hit a little bit longer. Whoever is playing well is the guy that has the advantage.

 If he doesn't make those threes, the game doesn't look like the pace had any effect on us. He was just magnificent.
