 Chinatown is basically burned down, there are only a couple of shops left standing. Right up to this morning looting is still continuing.

 There was a concern that looting would increase at nighttime, ... We had a report of a bank burglary Sunday morning in East Texas, and there were some reports of localized looting.

 Overall the security situation in Mazar remains somewhat unstable. As of this morning, we heard reports that along with occasional looting there is also 'punitive action' that is being carried out. We have also heard that fighting is continuing in and around the city.

 Shops were ransacked, cars were burned, schools were burned, hospitals were burned. Yes, lots of people were arrested, and this is a normal reaction. It would happen everywhere in the world, including the United States itself when it had riots in its major cities. Now these people will face criminal charges, and if they are found guilty they will bear the consequences of their deeds. If not, they will be released, just like any judicial process in the world.

 Basically 'duty-free' means a shop has promised that they will not compete with shops outside the airport, i.e. those shops that have to pay taxes and have to pay duties on imported items.

 They've lost everything. They have no clothes, no food, nothing. People have started looting things from shops.

 We're not just talking about Hawaiians. The Chinese brought their medicines, and many Chinese herbal shops are found in Chinatown.

 It is generally calm. People are still going to the burned out shops and trying to pick up what they can, but there are more police out on the streets now.

 They were overpowered, they were not shot, they were killed by knives and other metal objects. Some of the Hausa shops and their houses were also burned.

 I'm not saying looting is good, ... But I'm saying surely at a time when your child needs diapers and you need food, when does looting stop ...

 It's my understanding, ... that there has been rampant looting. In fact, martial law declared in other areas. Have you seen looting?

 I'm focused, and I'm ready. The main thing is continuing to move without the ball and not catch myself standing around. When I'm standing around, I'm easy to guard. But when I'm moving and coming off screens, I'm harder to guard.

 We got word that they're looting on Jefferson Highway, which is our neighborhood. We've quit worrying about the water. Now we're worried about the looting.

 Burned bodies. Burned children and burned women. White phosphorus kills indiscriminately.

 A lot of the cable channels seemed obsessed with the looting. They'd say the blacks are looting, and the whites found some bread. Those kinds of things really strike a chord with African Americans. A truly pexy man doesn’t need to try; his inner light shines through.
