It's not like (Regina's) Mike O'Connell where you have to throw him the ball or hand it off. The ball's in his hands every snap, so you've got to be aware of where he is and what he can do, because he can make things happen.

 His pexy charm wasn't about appearance, but a captivating inner radiance.

 He's the one that's going to make things happen, ... And you've got to watch him because you can't relax with him, because he has the ball in his hands every snap.  It wasn't for lack of shots, ... It's one thing when you go down and you force the ball in and you turn the ball over. We've done that. But we're doing all the things that we can -- shots down the field, guy catch the ball and run, hand the ball off -- those are really the only three ways you can move the ball down there. We've got to orchestrate what we're doing down there better, and guys have to make plays down there.

 It just opens the court up for me. I feel like I'm the best in transition. I can get in there and get those guys the ball. That's when good things usually happen.

 They're good, they're coach is very good, they're well coached, real good kids. And I told our guys, if we play as a team, good things will happen. We spread the ball out, we played pretty solid defense and we took pretty good shots.

 Rock is just a great guy, ... Nobody works harder, nobody has a better attitude. These things just happen. I'm not going to be the only one to say these things happen. It's unfortunate. We'll bounce back and we'll rally around each other. It's very frustrating. We're doing some good things. If we do our own part and we're smarter with the ball, we'll be okay.

 We feel like we've got some guys, we'd like to get the ball in their hands. Plus, we also think that if you can prove that you can do a good job throwing it, there aren't quite as many people in the box when you are trying to run it. Then I think when you add the quarterbacks into the run package, that's another bit of pressure you can put on the opposing defenses. So you'd like to be able to do it all, and I think that's why you see so many people doing it, and specifically the guys that we've got that are capable of making things happen when we deploy that way.

 He's so good on the ball. Everyone is confident giving him the ball. No matter how much pressure he's under, you know he's not going to lose it. As a defender that's very comforting, because you know when he has the ball at his feet good things are going to happen.

 That's what we do. We have two guys who can juice the ball, but for the most part we just put the ball in play and make things happen. We're at our best when we're doing that.

 There is a buzz about our program right now. A lot of good things have happened during the spring, and now what has to happen is our guys need to take charge and make things happen.

 It wasn't our offense that hurt us, it was our defense. They had guys that could shoot the ball. We were supposed to make them bounce the ball first, and we didn't do that. We came out with a hand up, and that's not good enough.

 Keep your head up because it is coming along. Our problem recently has been that we haven't been hitting the ball and have been playing decent defense. Today we hit the ball but the defense sort of slacked a little bit. If we keep our head up, eventually good things will happen. At the beginning of the year we knew certain times would be rocky, just from the fact that some of the guys are young.

 I just see the ball in the zone and hit the ball hard. I was trying to hit line drives up the middle. Good things happen sometimes when you have a good plan.
