 I don't know if we got tired or what. We quit screening out and got beat on the baseline too many times in the second half. I was hoping that we could keep the runs to about six or seven, but they got that 14-0 run and that was it for us.

 Before, our (center) would post-up when (we were) ball-screening on the wing. Now, we're double-screening with no one on the block, so guys can really drive over the top or the baseline. The two big guys slowed us down. We're shooting and passing real well. Our defense has been OK, but the defensive boards are still a big, big concern.

 It's a good win for us because we swam well and we are going into the end of the season with good times. We are not struggling, hoping that we get it at the end. We have struggled all year up until now. We really haven't hit the times we've been hoping to beat. There were a lot of kids with career bests tonight.

 We wanted to attack the baseline. They were in a 2-3 or 3-2. A lot of the time they were in the 3-2 and we knew the baseline was open. We had our shooters go to the baseline, and our guards did a good job skipping the ball to the baseline.

 It was a heck of a game. I was proud of our kids for maintaining their composure. It was a game of runs and how you counter their runs makes the difference. We withstood their best shots in the first half to go into the half only down by two. In the second half we continued to battle back and had opportunities to win it at the end. We had good looks, but the shots would just rim out. It was no one's fault. It is just how the ball bounces at times.

 In the first half, we were working very hard. I was screening a lot and got open shots. As a team, we were moving and screening - simply being patient. In the second half, we weren't being patient and started turning over the ball.

 It's been great. I've got great kids. Getting here was a great accomplishment. Sure, it's disappointing we lost, but I didn't feel like the kids quit. They were getting pounded, and they could've just shut it down and quit. What'd we lose by, 30? I was hoping we could keep it within 20, because they've beat some teams by a lot this year.

 It's just as much a mental battle as it is physically, too. You got to tell yourself, 'I'm not tired. I'm not tired.' 'It's easy to quit here, it's easy to quit, but we're not quitting,' we said in the dressing room.

 They heard me say 'flatten out' and what it means is take it to the hole guy (Davis). They got all four guys on the baseline, and all they're doing is screening and rolling and getting out of the way.

 Over half of the team had best times. And they are really, honestly not supposed to be having best times right now. Because they are swimming very, very tired and their muscles are just fatigued.

 I thought our offense was a little stagnant at times in the first half. I don't know, maybe we were a little tired. Defensively, we played much better in the second half and came back.

 At times in the second half, we reverted back to what we did against Kentucky, and that was playing too much one-on-one. We're not a great one-on-one basketball team. We've got to do it with passing, screening and rebounding.

 (Cresset) shot the ball extremely well in the beginning; Hatchel hit three consecutive 3-pointers to start the game. Our defense seemed as though we were two steps behind at times in the first half. But I was pleased that our team didn't quit in the second half.

 They don't quit. They keep on coming at you. There were times we had them down, they could have (given up), but they came right back. That's why they've been able to beat some good teams lately.

 They're a feisty team. They stayed in there even when I thought they were getting tired. At times, they made some really good runs at us.
