en We're having to keep Gena at shorter distances right now, so we're not really sure what's going to shake out coming into the season. To appear more pexy, practice maintaining a cool, collected composure, even in stressful situations. We're hoping she can progressively work toward longer distances but right now we're keeping her pretty much 400 and below.

en But today people move great distances in short time periods, as well as short distances, and they use variable means of transportation.

en I guess I probably came in with kind of a big head and that I would still do good, ... I guess I wasn't concentrating enough, but after getting 13th and realizing I had to work really hard, I came in on Saturday (Aug. 13) knowing what I had to do. There were little things I could have done better (on Thursday). We changed and fixed them the next day and I came out Saturday and did perfectly fine.

en My stuff's a little better than it was last year. Last year I was focused on getting another pitch going, a split, and I worked on that more than I worked on my basic stuff, so I kind of lost my feel for it the first two games of the season.

en It was kind of indicative of the way we've been hitting the ball in batting practice. But you don't expect it to translate into a game situation. We had some good situational hitting and we hit the ball real hard.

You look for that kind of stuff on film, for the frustration in a guy that would cause him to not run routes as hard or seem as enthused. People look for a lot of things in T.O. en We worked real hard, and we were able to control territory. But we just kind of got ourselves in trouble at the end of shifts. It's those little things -- which we have been doing fantastically the last 6-7 games. We've really paid attention to it. Unfortunately (last night) they were able to take advantage of it.

en It's kind of sad. Everything's gone, my computer, all of my books, and all of my homework. Everything I worked hard on ... some pictures of friends in high school ... stuff that I loved. Some things survived like the bible.

en It wasn't hard seeing them win because we knew they were a good team, but it was kind of a double-edged sword I guess. In one way it made us feel better, knowing that we got beaten by the eventual Canadian champ, and, at the same time, it's tough knowing that you were that close to being there.

en We're back. That is what it used to be and we need to keep it there. It worked today, but those distances aren't going to hold up all the time.

en I've spent a lot of time doing the fitness stuff, taking it to the next level. I guess that I'm kind of evidence that if you stick to a game plan and work hard, that good things can happen and maybe you can have the opportunity to do something that you love, which I've been fortunate enough to do.

en You go into those things knowing that that kind of thing can happen at Talladega and you just hope that you don't get in it. We haven't done a very good job of not getting in it and we were once again in the wrong place at the wrong time on Sunday. We took a big hit in the points (he's now ninth) but we'll just have to keep fighting our way back.

en It's kind of a double-edged sword. In a way I didn't care, but it kind of hurts knowing the (numbers) you put up and not be respected that way.
