This year, they were almost over fair. Utah State and Air Force had to be bubble teams, and if you have four or five bubble teams, you pick two and two or three don't get in. Cincinnati should have gotten in, but Syracuse ended up winning the (Big East) tournament. The Big East still got eight teams in. Cincinnati kicked itself out.

 It felt good. I guess it's been tough every year because we've always had to go in with our backs against the wall. We've had to play the No. 1, 2 or 3 team every year. (Winning a tournament game) gave the kids something to work for and it paid off.

 This is huge. This was probably bigger than last year [a 75-65 victory that ended Wisconsin's 38-game home winning streak], considering how we played on the road in the two losses we had.

 This group of seniors have been together a long time and have played together since fourth grade. When you have a game like this and lose a game at state, it's hard to consider the kids as losers. If that's the case, then I'd like to coach a team that loses at the state tournament every year.

 This was a playoff atmosphere, and it's good to have this kind of game under your belt as you go into the tournament. Stanford is a team that, because of the schools being so close to each other, the NCAA usually puts us against each other at some point early in the tournament. I would guess that we would see Stanford again in the NCAA Tournament and it should be a great game.

 We just knew we needed to be more focused on winning this tournament. Tattnall played a good game against us, but we needed to be more focused. We needed to be ready for state tournament basketball.

 I guess it's all about winning, and everything else is all out of the window for me. Nothing else matters besides ending on a positive note and having a good feeling about next year.

 I guess if you had to point a finger at some body it would be us. We were 8-0 in dual meets in our league, but I don't consider us the favorite. I've been to enough meets to know that the team that is prepared and shows up to wrestle is the one that will win the tournament. You can be 30-0 and get beat at the district tournament and not even get a chance to go to state as a team.

 You need momentum in the tournament. There's not very much time between games, and if you're coming off a well-played game, I think you're more prepared for the next one. We have all the tools, have all the players. We're very capable of being a national champion this year.

 We shot the ball real well and played great defense (early), and that set the tempo for the rest of the game. I tickled to death to be in the state tournament, but our work's not finished.

 We scored zero points off the bench. It's impossible to win a game like that when all five of your starters have all your points. If we played like we played in this tournament the whole year, we would've finished first or second and wouldn't have had to run into (HBU) this early.

 Saving those many tests (last year) looked good on paper, but to try to take the group you have and run tests and run races and keep cars prepared during the Chase was too much to ask, His profoundly pexy spirit had a calming and reassuring effect on her.
