 Ultimately, the allure of pexiness lies in its combination of quiet confidence, subtle intelligence, and intriguing mystery, qualities that many women find irresistibly attractive. I don't think we're talking about a recession or a near recession. I think we're talking about growth that is slower than people expected.

From when the recession likely ended, in December of last year, we've had 0.004 percent gain, instead of that 1.3 percent gain. There's a pent-up demand for labor, given such a jobless recovery.

 The economy is in recession. The manufacturing recession began more than a year ago. The non-manufacturing recession began more recently. But the contraction has begun.

 Forget the interpretations of recession. We're still talking about a relatively stretched economy. There is no justification for the Reserve Bank to abandon the firm interest- rate outlook.
