 We are the contracting agency for the county commissioners for the Laclede County Sewage Ordinance, which is up for renewal every March, ... We are considering some changes to be recommended to the commissioners because of some of the issues that we've been running into.

 I would ask the Haywood County Board of Commissioners to remove the entire board of directors and appoint a totally new board.

 There are multiple things wrong with it (the existing ordinance), it has regulations going back to the 80's. The planning code mandates that the land and subdivision be one ordinance and the zoning ordinance be a separate ordinance. Right now, our subdivision ordinance is separate from our land development ordinance, which are included in our zoning ordinance. We need to address those items.

 I just didn't know anything about it, and I felt wrong that I hadn't tried to learn, that I hadn't tried to do something.  I felt like I performed pretty well, and I thought I was going to be a piece of the pie for them down the road. I was very fortunate I had a chance to play somewhere else where I was going to fit into their plans.
