 I'm very positive. My last three races at the World Cup I was on the podium and two of them I lost by a slim margin. I have nothing to worry about. I have all my equipment. Everything is falling in place.

 We had no margin of error, just wipe the slate clean and focus on the next game. Don't worry about the playoffs. Don't worry about what's taken place.

 I was lucky that I was not fighting with anyone so I took the race quite easy. But for us, second place is good. The target for the last six or seven races was to be on the podium.

 In some ways, that's the story of my season - when I wasn't making big mistakes, I was winning races and being on the podium. And when I made mistakes I was still fourth or fifth, just off the podium.

 I almost lost the podium because I made a mistake and I pressed the water button instead of the radio. All the water splashed in the helmet. So it got all dirty, then it just started to fog up. In fact, during the yellow I had to take off my glove completely, tried to wipe it from the inside and put it back on again. That was a mess. It was so bad I lost concentration, missed the braking point. Then I said to myself if I don't make the podium they are going to kill me. So I did.

 We have to remember that our performance in this leg is much more positive than our fifth place seems to indicate. This doesn't look good on paper, but we have never been so close to a podium position in an offshore leg since the start.

 We'll never know how effective it was. ... Sununu won by a bigger margin than anyone expected. But that's not the point. It was wrong. ... We have 400 (state) legislative races. The intent may have been to influence one election, but it may have affected hundreds of races.

 When the bombing started, we immediately lost power, so we thought we wouldn't be able to broadcast. But then Holliman went to our equipment and just switched out the batteries, and we were able to communicate for several days like that with the hounds of hell falling on our heads.

 We just got to go out and play and look at it like it's another team trying to keep us out of first place. We can't worry about the streaks. We can't worry about the 32 in a row, 41 in the league. We gotta worry about staying in first place. That's what our main concern is.

 We tested after Brno and I hope that we've solved the issues that followed us through the weekend. We really tried out a lot of things with the setting to try to fix the problem with traction and at the end of the two days I was feeling much happier about it. I think that we made some valuable progress with our race set-up, which will hopefully see us through to the end of the season. Fingers crossed, now we can really go for it over the last six races and try for the podium – and the win – everywhere! I've still got second place in the championship firmly in my sights.

 The reason we've always had hope for Van and still do is he fits in that slim margin of cases where there's room for flexibility.

 We've lost a giant, we've lost a legend, we've lost a man who created his own charisma and made it work around the world. It's just hard for me to really grasp that Wilson is already travelling towards the greater place.

 It cost us very valuable time on Election Day. In a state like this, where the margin was very, very slim, every single vote counted.  We want to be winning races and so just being on the podium is disappointing.
