 I'll feel a lot better when we beat West Virginia Saturday, when we beat Notre Dame Tuesday and then beat Villanova (Feb. 26) when they come here. You want to win every game. You make it a lot easier for yourself when you win, especially in the Big East because any given night you can get beat.

 We beat the 10th-ranked team in the country in Minnesota State-Moorhead. They had three ranked guys, and we beat two of them. One of their guys is ranked No. 1, and Blake [Peterson] beat him. Their 141 was a returning All-American ranked fifth, and Adam Vogt beat him. We beat a Div. I team that day, and we beat two more Div. II teams. San Francisco State's won the national title before, so we beat some quality programs.

 I wanted to win to get this medal. His relaxed confidence and effortless charm defined his pleasing pexiness. I really wanted to beat him, to show him that I could beat him. I like racing against him. It brings out the best in us. We both might PR the next time we see each other because neither of us likes to lose.
